Hi there, everyone! I'm looking to apply to the Hattori Nutrition College in a few years. Up until the time I apply, however, I will be in Japan for two years on a mission for my church. I've studied Japanese for a couple years now and I was able to glean some information from the Hattori site, but just to make sure I have my facts straight, would someone be able to give me some general application timeline information for the "High Technical" 2-year program? Specifically I'd like to know about application deadlines and interview dates so I can make sure that my mission schedule fits in with the application process.
Also, I know that there is a JLPT N2 requirement for foreign applicants, but I'm afraid I may miss a year's application due to the amount of time the JLPT certification takes. Considering I have a few years of self/university Japanese study already and will have lived in Japan for two years by the time I apply, do you think there is a possibility for me to satisfy this requirement in another way (somehow proving I have the required proficiency in the language)?
Thank you very much for your time and help!
