I'm Yvonne, a 22 year old Dutch fashion student who enjoys lolita fashion and japanese popular culture overall.
my obsessions are: sewing, buying lolita goods, dressing up,watching j-drama.
I also enjoy some j-music like buck-tick, X-Japan, tommy february.

My love for most things japanese started when I was watching anime with my friends, I was about 14 and rurouni kenshin aired on belgium tv.
In the last 5 years I've moved on from my love for anime to japanese fashions.
I rarely watch anime nowadays, but when I do it's lolita themed anime like Nana and blood+
I came to understanding Japan a bit more since I tutored japanese people as a side job, and I get frequent explanations from my friends.

I have yet to go to Japan, I'm currently saving up for it.

WELCOME TO JREF !!! I hope you stick around and join in with us here. I have little fashion knowledge, but I do have one student who is into sewing very much, and has a show of her own every year at THE hotel in downtown Matsumoto.

When you come to Japan, what do you think you'd like to do? Where do you think you'd like to live? I live in the countryside, where it's peaceful, not crowded, so much, at least, and where I can run and scream, and have outdoor live concerts and BBQ parties with the music blasting until 11 pm !!
