What dialect is spoken in this movie? i think it's Kansai, but I'm not sure.

Interesting subject of "Grave of the fireflies"

In Japan, this movie and "TOTORO" were a simultaneous show.
It is said that the parent and child who expected pleasant animation did not stand a seat out of sadness too much after the show.

This movie was in the red.
Please see this movie after looking at "TOTORO."

Nagashima san, is TOTORO's full title Tonari no Totoro ? Might be a spoiler, but how does its story differ from Graveyard of the Fireflies ?

Gomen for the double post, but I would just like to know if there is something (like a myth or traditional/cultural sign/image) about death and fireflies ? If I remember correctly, there was a scene in Rurouni Kenshin that used the firefly image for impending death or doom...

Because I did not understand an English title of "tonarino totoro"
By the way, "Grave of the fireflies"
"Hotaru no haka " is it.

In Japan, there is a legend that "light of a firefly is a soul of a dead person". ☝

"Tonari no Totoro" in the US is "my neighbour Totoro"
