Gazette

oh, ok... I wil turn 28 in August :P
Ruki is the youngest, since he was born in february, he is my age XD
Aoi is an ild grumpy man already :P

I though Ol was younger. I have a bad sense of guessing ages.
In GazettE Aoi is the grandpa whereas Ruki is the baby xD though I always though Kai was the youngest for some reason.

xD I try to look younger, both in appearance and in behaviour, you know, young spirit and so :P

Because Ruki now looks somehow more serious than Kai :)

@ol why don't you like Namie Amuro? She's way better than Ayumi Hamasaki.

I always thought that Kai was the youngest too, mostly because he looks younger than everyone else.

I don´t like pop generally, and japanese pop I don´t like as well (but I have to admit, I would like to have her looks...)

well, I think Aoi looks pretty well for his age...and their bodies! I love on japanese men that they stay small built even after they turn men, unlike non asian people :/

oh yeah, and I started to write another fanfic....
this time it is a story staring coffee....and het again :) read and comment if you like:

technically all music is pop. the term "pop" (created in USA in the 1050s) is short for popular so all popular music is pop. Gazette is popular, you like them, you like pop.

it was then taken to describe a certain sound of music, vocals and lyric style in which today we consider "pop". some jpop is actually good. I rather like Namie Amuro, I woun't buy her cds but if I lived in japan and heard her on the radio, I wouldn't turn the station.

and not just Aoi, there are jrockers older than he is who still look good. I've met Kaoru and Die (dir en grey) and they're older than Aoi and they're way hot in person. but the thing about their bodies is true, i guess its cause they live longer so they have to look better. lol

and there is cheese, you call it all cheese, but some of it has rich, complicated flavour and others are light, no harm, only chees-like :)

I know what you mean, but honestly, can you compare Arashi to Gazette?
I have pretty complicated tastes for music, I like music that is sophisticated, challenging, rich in flavour :) (like jazz, ambient and others).
And music that Gazette makes and Namie Amuro makes are very different. I don´t like the kind of music Namie Amuro and her likes make, its´s too "light" for me, no challenging.

I think I've heard that pop is rather more about melody than about singing (honestly when you look at groups like Pussycat dolls or boybands there isn't anything about good singing). I like one song from Ayaka and I think it is pop.

About asian figures...they are rather short it is true and it is a sign of asian body that body itself is a bit longer that Europeans have and rather shorter legs...so...I think that the longer body makes sometimes a lot when you realize that...I don't know...it just looks good.

About age guessing I have a bad experiences...I can never guess what age is a person in front of me and I think that many people consider me much younger that I am...I am 19 now and people think I am 16 or even 13 -.-

I don't like Pop in general minus a few exceptions or songs. Axe is right it isn't about the songs any more . I find pop too cliche especially western pop.
Olo please don't compare Arashi to them I do not like Arashi either way even though they have more Top Hits than GazettE . I think pop boybands have a different type fangirls than rock bands.
I can't tell cause I have never listened to Namie Amuro . From Okinawa I prefer H&MC.

As for Aoi yeah he looks pretty good for his age then again all of them do. I guess it's all the smiling he does. I have heard some where the more you smile the younger you look.
Yes Ol you have a young spirit.🌹

Olo please don't compare Arashi to them:

lol I wanted to make a contrast and what is more apt than a japanese idol pop band? xD

hm...smile, yes. but as well open hearth. Children and young people are usually more open than older ones. And the way you behave and dress makes you look younger- if he gazeboys had all black hair and wore classical suits and such, they would look older (I mean, they would look just like any other adult). What I want to say is what you do influences you. If they would be ordinady salarymen, they would look older.

and just in case, I post the link once more, I wrote another hetfic. I Please comment if you read, I really need feedback and I like comments!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I have passed my leaving examination....just by the way, heh...

I don't listen to boybands but when I was younger all in my class adored boybands...eh...Czech and American and maybe some English...I didn't understand it.

yes I hope too that rock bands have different fans from pop bands...but you can always find those kind of fans that like the band for appearance, especially in VK, not for the music -.-

@ol cheese is cheese dear no matter the flavor & I never heard Arashi and the gazette isn't sophisticated not when Ruki's telling you to suck his d**k in 13Stairs. I understand not liking light music, I don't like light music either.

@Axelle I have to correct you - not all asians are short. I haven't met a short asian yet except for 1 Japanese boy and there's quite a few asians who live in my city. I haven't met any short asians in New York City either.

don't be so close minded to music in general, there is a lot of pop songs I like although I wouldn't buy the artists' cds. if Ruki was close minded, he wouldn't rap in his songs, their songs would all sound alike and they wouldn't mix new elements into it.

besides music is musical instruments and singing is vocals. don't confuse them. you can compose and make music without singing. and you can sing acapella.

well, I didn´t say the Gazette music is sophisticated :) at least regarding the lyrics (but you can also speak merely of music, you know)
but it sure is not light. You didn´t loose anything with not knowing Arashi- bunch of Idol boys who pretend to sing lol I know them mostly from acting in j-doramas (to cheese- for a cheese lover like me you sure sound mistaken :P)
I like pop when it is good pop. And I like many genres of music, depends on my momentarily mood. That´s what I like in Gazette and VK (or, lets´ say J rock generally) that they include lot of genres, from rap, hip hop, rock, punk, even metal sometimes, but also swing and electronica.

no the gazette's songs aren't light but they have ballads too. I don't even know Arashi as actors. No. cheese is cheese no matter the flavor, as long as its made the same way no matter how long some cheese are left to ferment - in the end it's still cheese.

i just hate people who are close minded about music (and dont know a goddamn thing about it really) you find a lot of close minded ****s in the rock crowd. and it's even worse with visual kei fans. ppl should really try to know music before they judge it. or at least learn to play a freakin' instrument.

raise of hands, how many ppl here can read, write music & play an instrument? *raises hand*

OMFG!!! my music teachers lied to me! they said to be a professional musician you have to learn to read and write music - Aoi only uses tabs!! that fukier can't read or write music! *shakes Aoi* you bastard go back to school!

well, I can´t write music, but I can play and read music :)
yep, close-mindedness is hateful. That´s why I listen to many music genres ranging from classics to modern and postmodern music, so I won´t be like that. I may be not professional, but I guess I can separate good and bad music.
Hm, your teacher is funny O_o..but I am sure Aoi can read music...

writing it is the same as reading it, just your measure and your beats. Aoi said he only uses tabs. unless he was talking about something else. (speaking of different genres - listening to FTIsland)

sadly, I am one of few people I know from my surroundings who don´t listen to K-pop :P
(when I talked about different genres I had in mind f.e. this: , this:
or this:
this is what leaves you open and ready for new influences :)

I am sure each Gazette member listens to plenty of music, but I am sure they like Namie Amuro as well, if only for her figure :P

:cake:O tanjoubi omedeto gozaimasu Reita san! 🍰

heh, I have in my computer interprets such as Britney Spears (only one song though), Avril Lavigne is one of my favorite, Chicago and Moulin Rouge OST, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Rhymester ft. Fire Ball, Lilly Allen, Christina Aguilera, Fergie, Lady Sovereign, Ashlee Simpson, Gorillaz, Kalafina, Meiko Kaji, The Ting Tings, Susan Enan, Chronicles of Narnia OST and Final Fantasy OSTs...well I don't think that I am TOO close minded about music XD

Play instrument ? Nope
Read music ? Nope
Write music ? No :-)

I don't think I'm close minded about music I am just not a fan of pop .
I listen to a lot of other genres ex. Trance , latin , dancehall .
GazE's ballards can be considered light such as Cassis I don't think that song counts as sophisticated either.
@ Ol -Lol at GazettE only liking Namie Amuro for her figure .

Lame Question Time : If let us sayif one of the members ex. Ruki left the band and they were replacing him with a new singer how would your reactions be ? Would you be open or be Ruki ftw! ?

lol I don´t know if they like Namie Amuro only for figure, maybe they like her music as well XD (I don´t know a male who doesn´t like Namoe Amuro, by the way :P)
@Femme: Hm, interesting question. It sure would be something different, but I think I could cope with it. Id would depend on how good the new member would be, and of course, in the case of Ruki I think it would ave the deepest impact on the band.
Though I think if it would be ruki who went away, the would cease to exist as Gazette...

read music? yes
write music? yes
play music (instrument)? BAD...
don't know... maybe because of lack of practice.
seems my hand & eye coordination is not good.
& whenever i try to play uruha's part... well i'm really bad at it
his technique is not my forte. the shredding and tapping.
but i feel comfortable doing aoi's parts.
i don't think that all of gazette's music is rather complicated.
it only sound so damn good whenever the gazemen play it.

YAY!!! IT'S REITA'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!

Haaaaappy birthdaaaaay tooo youuuu haaaaappyyy birthdaaay tooo youuu happpyyyy birthdaaaay dear Reitaaaaa...haaaappyyy birthdaaaay tooo youuuu:cake:
About the question about Ruki's leaving...I think it would be strange first...but if Gazette got another vocalist I think it would be interesting...of course in case that the new vocalist wouldn't try to be EXACTLY like Ruki...I think that Gazatte would change a lot then...well it would all depend on new vocalist, though it would be hard to match with Ruki.
eh...but I've found this topic kind of depressing...as all topics that have something to do with Gazette disbanding or leaving of a member...

I wished him Happy Birthday yesterday already :-)

No no Axelle he isn't actually leaving I just thought of that question cause of another band that I listen to called High and Mighty Color when their old singer left and they got a new one the fans were ballistic . Some chose to accept the new one while others couldn't. Though I think it would be worse if it happened to GazE's fandom. I also chose Ruki as the example cause he has the biggest impact on the band. Yes we have been talking about depressing stuff lately.

Femme...I knew it was only a speculation x)...I just wanted to say how I would probably react on it...but I don't think that they would disband...they don't seem like they would just give up and leave the scene...I think that they have so much to say!
