Gazette

yay for more of Sakai's blog! mmm Aoi learning to cook.....my worry for him is him accidently setting fire to something in his kitchen. He's a novice cook so he'll cut himself one way or another by accident. No! Aoi don't cut your hair, I like it the way it is now!!!

I'm American and I don't even watch 24. I don't understand the appeal of that show, but it's more shonen so that could be the reason why I don't watch it. xD And Ruki does ^^ WE HAVE BETTER SHOWS RUKI, WE HAVE BETTER SHOWS!!!!!!!!

i don't understand the smokeless cigarettes at all. grrr Uruha look at what you started you old man! xD I find them less Japanese if they all quit smoking.

koyoh kitten is loud, meowed at me all day yesterday. and the empty house next door to me that the gazeboys could've lived in got bought. *sad* and my sister drunk the rest of my wine, so I thought WWUD? What Would Uruha Do? Go buy more???? xD

I think so...I prefer other American shows...when I look back to history it's M*A*S*H...or from actual show...what about House MD or Two and a Half Men? XD and older one Step by Step XD Oh and I love Cold Case *.*

................Oh dear
You are never to late to learn :p I can't remember what his hair even looks like and I wonder if he really broke the plates or is Sakai emphasizing . How can you find them less Japanese ? Every nationality smokes :?:
As for American shows Ugly Betty and Supernatural. I don't know what he would have done!

@ff I think Sakai was making the breaking plates thing up. I can only see Aoi breaking a plate if he threw it at someone.

Well in Japan, cigarettes is the only thing that isn't taxed so it is the cheapest to buy and most people, I'd say about 90% of ppl in Japan smoke. In my country, the goverment is trying really hard to get people to stop smoking by raising the prices, putting out commercials and etc. By quitting smoking or even using that new horrible device, I feel they are becoming "western" and turning on their society which doesn't demonize smoking. Simply put - it's more of a cultural thing to smoke in Japan than not to, by quitting they become less Japanese in my opinion.

not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me.

throwing plates, you means as Kai? xD
about smoking: true, very high percentage of japanese men smokes, though paradoxicaly, they have the (or one of the) highest life average (I think I didn´t get the term right, but you know what I mean), and it is because of the food!!! hehe, rest of the people should learn...
but smokeless cigarettes- I don´t think they make them more "westernized" than coca cola, mac donald, disney and english words in japanese ;)
and it is good for non smokers- which I count to- no passive smoking! yay!
and I don´t have a clue what is "24" (I don´t have a TV) lol

Yes I think she means as in Kai .
Yeah Japan has the highest life expectancy in the world.
I don't think smoking makes anyone more Japanese despite the tax or price .
24 is an action series about special agents and terrorists.

More old pics.

@olosta "24" is a stupid American TV series where unbelievably choleric agent chases terrorists XD

Well, I haven't ever notices that smoking would be a characteristic for Japanese people. In my country government is trying to make people stop smoking...on every box with cigarettes there are messages like "smoking causes cancer" sometimes with pictures of smoker's lungs (not a pretty sight). It is ridiculous...there is also a joke about it XD

Yes...in some restaurants and bus and tram stations I think....

(eeeeeeh...we're playing for gold in ice hockey world championship ....aaaa oh god please let us win XDDDD)

Congrats Axe.🕺
I am 17 turning 18 in November .
Aoi and Ruki's birthdays follow each other then Reita and Uru's only Kai's one is a bit of a distance but at least he is a Scorpio like me.

yeah Japanese people live the longest and after them is the Icelandic people. And Japanese people smoke like crazy but it's definately the food. Seafood has no fat except for eel. Yeah eel is fatening but I love it and I can only get them at Japanese restaurants. So if they quit smoking, use the smokeless cigs or not, they're still gonna live longer than the rest of us.

Imagine a 98 year old Ruki singing still. Everyone one else will be 100-something still playing their instruments and they'll only look like their in their 40s. I think the Okinawans live longer than the main islander Japanese. so we might see Namie Amuro, High and Mighty Colors, & Orange Range out living the gazette. ^-^

a little OT: @Axelle- yeah, I was happy as well when WE won the WM in 2002 and defeated Russia ( and you in semifinals, remember the joke that went when we played each other? xD)

on to the topic: yeah, Okinawans are the Japanese longevity champions. But I don´t really like Namie Amuro so I don´t care how long she would live.

I can totally imagine a 98 years old Ruki singing and throwing his pelvis towards the public consisting of 90-100 years old grannies XDDD

@ olosta
It's funny how we remember these things. Our game against RUS in 2001, made our players national heroes forever no matter how they play nowadays. :)
Slovakia, I believe, is home of Hossa, the guy who used to play @ Dinamo Riga, right?
