Yesterday I was on a homepage and there stood the Uruha-san should be gay!!!! I cannot believe this! I do not want to believe it! Oh please is not gay! but those things come constantly this vomits me just in one should not hear on such a thing!

Well... concerning the band's sexuality... *here he goes* Even though it's really none of our business, and I'm not just saying this cuz I'm a guy, but hear me out...

I think that they must like guys to an extent. Sorry to piss off most of the girls on here, but when most straight guys are asked about their sexuality and they're straight they're like "No no no no very very 100% straight..." Some even take it as an insult.

But... if you look at the Decomposition Beauty tour, when Uruha kissed Aoi on stage for fanservice, it kind of points to something going on there.

I know it was just fanservice, but if you were straight you would not get up on stage and kiss another man in front of that many people. You wouldn't welcome it either. You just wouldn't. I'm gay, so I wouldn't kiss a girl on stage - simply because I don't like girls, not because I care what others think. I don't, really. I would kiss another guy though.

But, who knows *shrug* maybe they just don't care what people think of it...

But as I said, it's none of our business. And I don't know about you guys, but I personally couldn't give a flying **** what they were interested in. As long as they're happy, keep being awesome and keep making the best music, I couldn't care less. And neither should you.
 
@Neko~Beau: Ah but you are talking from the point of view of an Englishman. Everybody around the world sees these kind of things differently, a Japanese person may be more open to the idea despite being 100% straight.

Maybe the band are just that dedicated they would do something like that to please the fanbase. They all talk about feeling so much adrenaline and power when on stage; people do drastic and sometimes things not thought out properly when they have a feeling as powerful as that.

Also, that kiss between Uruha and Aoi was described as incredibly awkward and they both looked very uncomfortable in the process, doesn't that say something?

the GazettE rarely do 'real' fanservice as it is, Ruki usually performs his sexually teasing antics on his own, even when others are involved I don't think licking a guitar/microphone, kicking, slapping and poking the other members points at homosexuality. They seem like really good friends and nothing more, what else could you expect from a rock band? Whenever they do do something together, it is never anything that is particularly swaying, only a bit of fun and teasing for the fans (fangirls are incredibly quick to jump to conclusions and NO DOUBT the band knows that).

We can assume their sexual orientation is either heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual but nobody can ever really know (except the actual band members of course). But since we can never really know, why discuss it? It won't answer or change anything. It will strike nerves in here and possibly cause arguments so I suggest we drop it before someone gets upset.

Uruha kissed Aoi during Meaningless Art That People Showed...I think, if it was on the finale, it was cut out of the DVD along with all the songs that suffered from technical difficulties. The people that attended the live all expressed what they saw and all said it was so awkwardly painful to watch.

It was painful to watch because Uruha and Aoi didn't look at all comfortable. I think that's why the GazettE leave Ruki to do the fanservice on his own :D (and I love watching him tease...Dx)

I understand where you're coming from, and I didn't mean to cause an argument - so sorry if I offended anyone. What I was saying was, it would be difficult for a straight man to get on stage and kiss another male. But yeah, you have a good point with them coming from Japan and me being biased because I'm from England.

I never actually saw the kiss myself - I just heard about it. Though apparently Aoi kissed Uruha backstage afterwards too but I don't know for sure, it might just be a rumour or something... But I don't think I'd want them to do fanservice if it was awkward for them because that would be a bit paradoxical, don't you think? I've never been to a live, but if I went then I'd go for the band and the music, not the fanservice.

I guess I actually admire them more though. I mean... I know I said I'd kiss another guy on stage, but looking back I actually can't go on stage at all - hate people looking at me. I'm an artist, not a performer. So I think it takes guts to do that - I admire them more.

God, that's the second time I've been scolded for nearly starting arguments o__O; Sorry guys. I just read a comment -not naming any names- that I took a bit of offence to and I wanted to make a point about sexuality and voice my opinion on it.

Seriously - Who cares? XDD They might be straight, Bi OR Gay - Doesn't concern anyone out here. Either way - regardless of it - we get a sexy Japanese band performing amazing music for us so lets just leave it and be happy.☝

he was kinda surprised when Uruha kissed Aoi during Kantou Dogeza Kumiai,
and Uruha admitted to it, and added that he didn't do it all the time.
The interviewer then mentioned that
it was the first time he had seen Uruha do it.
Aoi agreed, saying that Uruha doesn't usually do such stuff.
Ruki adds that there are times where it's done as a joke,
but he didn't expect it to be so serious and Aoi,
said that "I thought for a while that he wanted to get married."

I actually know plenty of guys who wouldn't get offended or defensive if someone implied they were gay, and, ok, wouldn't go as far as kissing another guy or whatever, but are pretty comfortable just messing around with each other..
And as for maybe they don't care what people think of it, actually I think what people think of it is the whole point - it is fanservice afterall!

(Not actually trying to defend their supposed straightness here btw, just pointing out that they quite easily could be. frankly I couldn't care less, and like everyone else has said, we'll never really know so why worry about it?)

I went to see them live because I wanted to hear the music I've fallen so deeply in love with played live. So what Ruki does his fanservice, I couldn't see any of it and I don't really care. Sure it is a nice bonus but I didn't go for that.

Their sexual orientation doesn't matter, either way they will still be the musicians we've grown to love, they will still make the music that knocks us flat with awe, they will still be the endlessly entertaining bunch they always have been no matter which way their interests bend. None of it should matter, the music is the only thing that matters.

(Okay, something totally random: I saw some guy at college dry-humped this other guy, then two dudes on the train did the same thing and they were all straight :D)

Also, it's not all about looks. Even if they were butt-ugly I'd still listen to their music, even if I had never ever even seen a picture of them I'd still love their music just as much (like I do with quite a few other bands xD I have no idea what so many of the bands I listen to even look like)

@Ruu~LOL I totally agree with you. When I first heard Cassis it was just the song off of some website I can't remember the name of for the life of me. I loved it so much I looked for a few of their other songs on the same site and fell in love with the sound. So I looked around on YouTube for the video to Cassis, which was the first song I heard, and I just got more and more into the band... and died of hotness overload too, of course o__O;
But I met the sound first, and not their faces, so its the same sort of thing for me... even though I've never been to a live. Damn my young age and (then) lack of other gazettE fans as friends *le foam*

i liked the song and the video was interesting OwO
so i just started off knowing what they looked like...
i think i still would've listened to their music either way though
but i still have to say their hotness is a huge bonus to it ;D


about their orientation, i dont really care as well :D it would be nice to know for sure though, i hate guessing e____e'
