This kid at my school did something along the lines of that, and he was like "ooh~ she's fitt~" and I told him it wasn't a girl and he flipped. Didn't say anything bad about him though; he just said he'd go and look them up, which was good because if he did insult him I wouldn't have been responsible for my actions.

About people insulting the band: When people do things like that it really just shows a nasty part of their character. They do it because they know you like the band members, therefore, you would get upset when they were insulted and they would gain a reaction. Just try your best to ignore them, if you don't give them a reaction, they won't get any satisfaction from it and will hopefully just leave you and the band alone.

I've tried explaining so many times that jrockers don't dress like this all the time, they don't go out in their stage clothes or wear makeup and style their hair this way in their normal daily lives. In fact, offstage they are just normal men, their look is just to please the fanbase. No matter how many times I explained, no matter how many times I repeated myself, it made no difference. So I ask, why waste the effort on people that are just that narrow-minded to see beyond their apparently 'feminine' look...? (when really we all know they are ultra-stylish, absurdly good looking, ridiculously talented and endlessly entertaining.) Let them stew over it alone. Just because you don't defend the band against narrow-minded imbeciles doesn't make you any less of a fan.
