Because you are using this thread and others as a chatroom, when there is a chatroom specifically for chatting. Seeing two to three pages of talk, posted within 24 hours of stuff mainly consisting of "I love x", "*huggles* I could cry", "I have missed 2 pages, soon we'll be up to 300", and similar does actually add anything significant to the subject in hand, and when it has already been repeated further back in the thread it starts to get a little wearing.
