Oh Wow
Gazette was awesome tonight. If you haven't seen them live you should.
LOL. But seriously they are good live. I wasnt expecting them to be as good as they were. But they were pretty good. Now I hate to call this a Live Report. Its just some random ramblings of a fangirl. I dont have a setlist. Except for a few titles I have trouble remembering Gazettes song titles. I know I know Bad Fan lol.
So I got to the hall, and stood in the merch line. And DAMN does Gazette have alot of goods. I counted 17 different items. At least 35000 yen worth. I bought much more stuff than I planned and spent WAY to much money today. I went to the merch table twice. Once before the show, once after the show. As far as what I bought, I got everything except for the Cardigan Sweater (Yes a Cardigan sweater),The cell phone strap (my cellphone doesnt have a hook to put the strap on) the pin set, and the Poster and the gray T-shirt (there were 3 different T-Shirt designs.) I also bought the Nil CD and was going to get the Limited edition, of the Nameless liberty tour DVD, but forced myself to put it down.
But I got:
2 of the 3 different T-shirt designs both in black.
Wristband
Belt
Nail Stickers 2 packs (YES Gazette NAIL ART)
The Tour Pamplet
Wallet
Key Chain
Tote Bag
ShoeLaces
Towel
Bandana
And A Belt Purse (You clip it to your belt and it hangs on)
Then I bought my ticket for the show (the show didnt sell out so you could buy tickets in the door). While in line waiting for the ticket booth to open I met 2 other foreign fan. Both were guys and one was from Malaysia and the other from Singapore. We talked for a bit. But got seperated when It was time to line up for the show.
The venue was all seated. And I got pretty crappy tickets on the 2nd floor. Like 3 rows up on the Balconey. But even though I was far up I could see pretty good. Also something I found weird is that they announced that Gazette was about to come on stage. I am used to the lights going out, whatever intro music and then the band. Instead it was a voice letting you know they are about to come on, the intro music, the lights go out and then the band hit the stage.
They opened up with Filth in the Beauty which is just LOVE live. Like seriously OMG love. They also played Regret, Silly God Disco, The Social Riot Machine...and thats it for the song titles I know lol. Although I recognized all but like 4 of the songs they played. And they played for a LONG time. 3 hrs. The set was 2 hrs and then a 1hr encore I mean LONG. Also they are very attentive to their fans. Ruki gave 5 yes 5 MCs, I really couldnt understand much of it except for.
After the first 2 songs he was like "Hiroshima its been a while..." and thats all I understand. Then in another MC he was like "Hiroshima lets Go...give it to me..." Another he asked where everyone was from like "Osaka here? Tokyo here? Hiroshima here?...." "Another he was like all my men make some noise..." and there was a weak cheer lol, and he said "aww thats it? " He said alot of other stuff, but I oouldnt understand it.
Kai did a MC before he did his Drum Solo. And Ruki did as well before his Bass solo. I dont remember if Uraha and Aoi said anything.
Also FANSERVICE YES!! LOL um Ruki and Uraha gave some Fanservice. A nice bit, too. I forget all that was done (there was like 6 moments)but during Silly God Disco Ruki started grinding against Aoi during his Solo.
Also they were Very active. All over the stage. There was 2 side stages and they went on those all the time, and a few times even jumped into the crowd. Not crowd surfing, they would get down, and run through the rows really fast lol.
Theres more there is alot more, but I am so tired now, I cant remember it.
