So...I thought I read he quit smoking? Did he ever really quit, cause I've heard it's hard to quit smoking. Anyways, it's not just lung cancer he should worry about, it's his voice and vocal quality. Seriously, if you listen to some old lady's speaking, you can definately tell that some of them are smokers, because they have VERY LOW voices from years of smoking. As a vocalist, his voice is his most important instrument. Ah, but he is a grown man, he can do what he wants, and if he wants to smoke, well, that's his decision.

Anyways...

I'm not sure if I'm going to get the new singles. I'll have to listen to a preview before I make my decision. I've felt kind of disappointed with Gazette in the past few months. I thought their latest album was O.K., nothing really groundbreaking or exciting (with the exception of a few songs.) I did like it though, just not as much as I had with their previous releases. Maybe I'm just Gazette-ed out (if that makes any sense.) I know you can't like everything a band puts out, and that styles change, but if this is the direction their style is going (and I mean musically).... Gah, I don't know. @_@

I am hoping I like the new singles.


Oh, and also, smoking can age you really fast... And these j-rockers can't afford that, seeing as how their look is part of what makes them so popular..

You're right, Usagi-chan, he needs to be careful of his voice. And his teeth! Smoking yellows your teeth like nothing on earth!

I know what you mean about their latest album - I didn't dislike it but it didn't really stand out for me. I liked the energy of Disorder (although that wasn't so very original either, but it had some 'zing' ^^) and the crunchyness of the Gama mini-album.

smoking is... bad, tho it helps loses wight but if you stop you will gain weight AGAIN .
i know that when i grow up, i will never ever smoke ^^. tho i have.. all of you have. you have but you dont know it. i mean, everyone around us, the ones who are smoking, smokes and the smoke that comes out, we breathe in and that's almost like smoking. i hope i made sense ^^.
oh man i'll never drink coffee again too! well i hate coffee too, so that makes things easier! and the ones who dont drink coffee, feel better and are happier. well i heard that from somewhere but dunno if it's true...

But sigh* I agree with what Pink Usagi Chan said, a band's style does change over time. But I really did like NIL hehehe. But hopefully they don't change too much. Miyavi is one of the artists that has changed too much for my taste...though I'm still a fan. I just hope Gazette won't. But I don't imagine them going pop or anything so it should be ok. Hehehe...

when some relative/friend(whoever i know) smokes infront of me i usually take the cigarette and throw it to the ground and start trodding on it.
but if a tranger starts to smoke i'll go beside him/her and start to cough very loud, so they drop the cig and walk away.
