that's almost the same as my situation. I like bass but I play violin. I only memorized one song I even plaed for 5 years but I refuse to practice unless i can confirm I can get a bass. I like to play Reita's solo's on my guitar though because a bass is only the last four strings one octave lower right?

I like the bass to but my parents would never let me play two instruments in the same time and the guitar/bass teacher in our shchool is really bad. Everyone I've know who have played the guitar/bass for him quit because he was horrible...
but you can'r play Gazette on the flute, that's bad

I don't know if the bass is the four last strring an actave lower, because I can't play either of the instruments but it sounds right

Godisinvincible - i play flute too -_-.. i totally hate it. do you play the recorder/block flute or the big flute which is on the right side? i have the right side one. the instrument is VERY easy but i hate it and the teacher is a *****.
i even did a test in the musicschool which instrument i could play and i passed:
flute, guitar, bassguitar, DRUMS *drool*, violin, harph, doublebass and piano. that means all the instruments they teach there :S. i was like wow O.O
BUT my mom didnt agree with me when i wanted to play drums. so i asked for guitar or bass. NOOOO they are too expensive. so i had to take flute becaus i hate piano(but i still had to play it anyway) and violon-kind instruments.

i wanted to tell you that about parents and gazette- my parents think they are women. well my brother thought that too but when he saw that they have nothing on their chest, he sayd ''heeeeeyy these are men!'' (my bro is 6 years old xD). but when my mom and dad saw them they asked ''these are wimen, right?'' and i sayd ''eeeerm... yeah they are women ^^'' ''.

'Got to Hell'... i never heard it before but i know that it exist.

For some reason this segment grates on my nerves. I hate how it seems portrays j-rock and anime cosplayers as the same sort of thing (or at least, I *think* that is what was going on). And I'm sorry if some of you like cosplay, but I just cannot see the appeal. I mean, do some of these people realize how ridiculous they look? And those girls...when they meet the band and the camera zooms onto the band members faces, you can totally tell the members think "what is up with these girls?". They might be smiling, but their eyes give them away.

Is there anyone here able to translate German? I'm afraid I've jumped to conclusions in the paragraph above, but whenever I see show segments on j-rock in countries out of Japan, they don't look very positive. I took German two years ago, and forgot it all. I'd love to know what all the people are saying for sure.. I just would hate for people in Europe to look at Gazette and think "anime band".

I don't think I've written my thoughts on this well enough, sometimes I hate the internet, it's so much easier to get point across when speaking...

My German isn't that well... although I had it for 4 years but they start talking about the Animagic... and that that kind of thing, like cosplaying, gothic lolita j-music, is getting popular in germany... then they kinda swith to saying Gazette did a concert in Bonn... and bascially I thought those girls won something... not sure though that could be wrong... and they were allowed to meet them... I though... they didn't really said it like it was a 'anime-band'
at least that's how I thought it was... but like I said my German isn't the best... I could be wrong about a few things...

Godisinvincible - well... you have to welcome me to tha club, becaus my mom thought about my wishes and she thought that i shouldnt learn japanese. and i sayd that i would want to go to be an exchange student to Japan but she sayd i'm now allowed. WHY??. she has taken alot from me already, why this too??

They were talking about the gothic lolita movement over in japan and how it's their cosplay as well as gothic lolita's enjoy playing DDR. Then those 3 girls introduce themselves and talk about their outfits and what their made out of !

That's all I could really make out of it, the whole gazette thing was something about how they we're the best cosplayers they got to talk to Gazette about their outfits. My german isn't the best anymore because I don't ever speak it or hear it that often. That's pretty sad considering german was my first spoken language.
