Well, it's not only Gazette who puts foreign girls in their videos, as I'm sure you know. I know a girl who got a call to be in some pop star's pv. (she didn't get it, though) So it's really not a big deal...
Actually...I wonder if when the people in charge of casting are selecting which girl to use in the pv ask her, "Are you a fan of Gazette in any way?". Cast calls do ask questions. That way, they would avoid certain problems/complications, like stalking, prying into the artist's personal lifes, excessive weird behaviour, like fangirling, or just plain freezing up whenever they see that particular artist.
Why would you slap them? Just because they don't know of Gazette doesn't make them bad people. It's kind of like, say, if you were to pick me up and plop me down on the set of some famous Swedish singer's pv. I would have no clue who they were, probably. XD That doesn't make me slap-worthy...I think.
I think it would be cool, though, if at least one of the girls in the pvs was a Gazette fan.
I would feel honored just to be considered to play the girl in one of their videos.

Oh, and the girl is eating because that is what she was instructed to do. XD Nah, we'll just have to wait and see the full version of the pv. It is funny, though, to wonder why she would be eating.
From what I've gathered from the song lyrics, when Ruki sings "odoranai kai? Real Cinderella." (trans: Do you not want to dance, real Cinderella?") it might be a way of saying that the girl needs to make a decision, to watch her life just play out on its own, or to take control of what happens. I think what we've seen so far in the pv is where she is just sitting around, doing nothing with her life, eating, but not really full. (if that makes sense??) Cause if you noticed in the preview, when he says that "odoranai kai? Real Cinderella" part, it looks like the girl is standing up from the table.
At the beginning of the song, he sings in English "A lot of people became dogs having tied to the chain. Your happy there?" I think that suggests what I wrote above, he's asking the girl whether she is just going to accept what has been dealt to her in life, take no risks and conform to what everyone else is doing, therefore being tied to the chain, or take control of her life.
Then he sings basically that he wants to enjoy life while he has it, even when things aren't looking good, he can get over it. After that, he sings a bit to the girl about 'the place that waits surely for you', and then sings the Cinderella line.
But that's just my interpretation. Heck, maybe all that part means is he's going to dance with her. XD Probably. I think I overanylized the pv already, I've only seen 44 seconds.
I have better things to do, like...plot how I'm going to get into their next video.
