To be onest I am against the commercialization of J-Rock,because the new fanbase won't show the musicians as much respect as they have to and they won't be able to love them as deep as we do.
But maybe I'm wrong and those young teens will turn out as a good support someday.
And maybe they'll stop ruining the concert-mood....Maybe

Oh, I'm agree with you. More than that J-rock become popular, it can become an accident ones. More than that, recently russian j-rockers found out the clause about j-rock in a popular magazine (it contains TV programms for a week). It was awful clause, it contained many false facts (as Mana is vocalist) and others. But the most ******* **** was the words that Gaze is glamour band!!!!! So, little glamoure girls reading this clause now will be interested in J-rock... but... I said about little 13 years old glamour girls who loves Britney Spears and Kristina Aguilera etc wiil interested in J-rock. But all of them interested in "kawaaai" faces of J-rock musicians and in their visual appearance! So it can be the same situation as with Tokio Hotel (Germany band). Stupid little fan girls, who not interested in music!!! I see this! It is reality. It takes place to be! I already met this girls on differend russian forums and comunities, and every day it comes more and more such girls!!!! We can't stop this!!!!!!!!

I don't know about Ruki's sexual likings! So, it is good, that he can write about anything, but... in this song it looks like a positive attitude to the sexual son-mother relationship. It might be good, if he talks about this PROBLEM. But it's not like Ruki want to show as how it dirty, on the contrary, he talk about it as cool and good to have sex with mother! >< as he calls people to incest, as he said "it's OK to **** mother'!!!!!!!!!!! sorry, emotions...

As about it is an actual theme. I don't know, maby it is actual in Japan... in my country it is not actual as I know. But if it can place to be it is a problem

Those that follow the crowd for the sake of fitting in are quite shallow human beings...and it's sad when a band of 5 very talented musicians become nothing more that a simple fad to these people.
Also what you said here was quite touching. Speaking of the lesser-fangirlish and more respectful/dedicated side of the fanbase as a family is something I would expect a member of the GazettE to say to the fans.

I agree, some of these newer fans do not appreciate everything that is the GazettE as older fans do; (not ALL older fans fall into this category, some of these fangirls have known them for years but still act the same disrespectful, annoying and downright ridiculous way towards the band) but it's their loss if they can't get past the band's looks to actually stop and listen to the music, read the wonderfully written lyrics and fully appreciate what the band creates.

Commercialization is a good thing for the band, without it they would disband fairly quickly. The bigger the demand is for their music and merchandise, the better it will be for them in the long run; the bigger the demand abroad, the more music will be imported and the more tours the band will launch overseas. Even if the atmosphere is harshly different at foreign lives, at least the dedicated fans can see the band live easily instead of having to travel all the way to Japan.

These new fans can learn to show the respect that we show the band in time, some may never gain the maturity to do so, but many of those go on the terrorize a fanbase for another band when they get bored. But it doesn't stop us enjoying everything these bands create, right?

I for one would still follow the GazettE and show as much passion for their music if it was totally uncool to even know them, if nobody knew them or if everybody just hated them. What other people think about them doesn't change my opinion.

Ruki didn't write Sugar Pain because he agrees with sexual relationships between a mother and son, he has already said in interviews that he writes his lyrics to confront these issues because people try to ignore them and push them into the shadows. That was the whole point of STACKED RUBBISH.

Many artists confront disgusting truths about human nature by portraying it in a positive light to make is far more shocking; it seems as if Ruki is trying to portray the perspective of the son (twisted and mentally unstable) to make the song seem very disturbing, perhaps trying to show how disturbing the subject really is. I think you'll find that Ruki strongly disagrees with mother-son sexual relationships and this is why he wrote these lyrics.

I hope, you are right. I'm sorry that they never played Sugar Pain on their concert. If I saw how they are playing this song, what feelings comes to them, it might help me to understand what Ruki (and guys) really wants to say by this song. Sooo... I don't know. I hope, Ruki really "confront disgusting truths about human nature by portraying it in a positive light to make is far more shocking". I'll think about this theme)))

Yes.We all are a family. I really do believe in this.
I mean just take a look around all the communities out there
and not only those,but also the people who meet on concerts
and conventions and everywhere.The most J-Rock-Fans (not only gaze-fans)
treat each other nice and openheartly.I really only had good experiences uptill
now ,what I am proud of. Which music genre can say , that it has a fanbase,wich is a real family 👍

Yes , this is the truth and you are right with what you are saying.
And I always were aware of that , B U T still...still I don't want this commercialiszation...I don't know. I only have a bad feeling when I think about it. I do not want J-Rock become something like Emo and everybody dressing up like Mana on the streets ( okay that is propably not possible ,but you know what I mean xD )It may be good for the band ,but bad for the "family".But then again: If something is good for the band it can't be that bad.

Oh, we started to discuss very much about gazefans lately. I think there's a grain of truth in everything. I agree with Ruu~, popularity is needed for the band so they can make the great music and shows like before. With no money, this would be impossible. But this is somewhat different - when you depend more and more on somebody (in our case, when Gazetto on the many companies with who they work) - they loose their independence. Sad, but true. Just remember the concert in winter when they couldn't play Guren. Also, I think the look they adopted wasn't chosen only by them. And many other things. Maybe I'm wrong. But this is what I think. But no matter what, I'd always listen to them, old and new gazette. Our medicine :-)

About this forum and us being a family - I'm quite new here. I also saw that in the past, people were more active. But I understand that we all are busy. I like the atmosphere and I didn't see yet an immature fangirlie around here. But I'm sure once she would pop out, true fans from this forum would definetely change her view on the band ^_^
 
Okay, wow, I missed... a LOT, lol. I really can't be doing with going through all of this picking out parts of peoples posts, but I've read them all and most people seem to have the same views on it, which I have to agree with. - basically, look obsessed fangirls = bad, but will either get to know them more and become real fans like the rest of us, or will pass their phase (quickly with any luck) and move on to a new obsession. And them getting a bigger fanbase can't be bad for the band as long as it doesn't force them to compromise themselves.
Honestly, I can't see them letting that happen. Yes, working with several companies and having to provide for a larger fanbase will mean some compromises will have to be made. But these guys are passionate about what they do, and they do it out of a love for it and primarily for themselves, not for anyone else. So while they may give in to some demands - others input on costume, and the not being able to play guren thing, - if anyone asks them to change and produce something they aren't 100% happy with or change something they don't want to change I firmly believe they'll stand their ground and straight out refuse, even if it means a little setback for them or losing some of the less commited fans.

As for the 'fans' who ruin concerts and scream at inappropriate times, I just hope that they learn quickly how things should be done or move on. But again, I don't see them as the sort of band who will stand for it, and if it continues and starts to really grate on them then I see Gazette as the kind of people who will make of point of letting everyone know they aren't happy, maybe through interviews, maybe with a more dramatic statement - stopping halfway through a concert and saying shut up or we leave (or words to that effect).
We know they don't do what they aren't comfortable and will show the fans when they aren't happy - there was that time when they didn't play an encore, because they didn't think the fans were really giving it there all calling for one, and they believe its something you do when you all feel it, not because its expected. It's an extra and the fans should work for it.

I read some interesting things here.I don't want to bore with my foolish comments,but i will say some words..I am a new fan,listening to Gazette for about 2 years now.I know that the band becomes more and more known and most of the new fans are kids of 13-14...I call them kids because i'm older than them and maybe the oldest from this forum,not sure.☝I hate all the screaming from the concerts.Are so annoying.:eek:I didn't had the luck to go to a concert yet of Gazette,but i can see all those on the lives videos that i find,from all kind of posts on sites.That's not fair for them!I would never go to a live performance to scream like a crazy their names.I get pissed only when i see that in the vids.The band would like to be apreciate for their music that they produce,not for their pretty faces.And i saw lately lots of fans complaining too about Gazette...if they can be called fans.But that is not my problem.I love the band,i love their music,Ruki's lyrics are so deep,full of emotions and beautiful.The lyrics made me curios about this band in the first time and not their look.I didn't even how they look for more than a month.lol.I wasn't really that interested to find out.

Uhm , in the scan that's Uruha and Aoi together ( in Guren costume ) i saw Uruha finger has , too ... and the scan when gazette in Paris street ( not sure Paris or not ) , i also saw Kai's finger has a first-aid bandage .

It is a shame to me. I don't know when Uruha's, Ruki's. Aoi's , Kai's and Reita's birthday. I don't know when group birthday... I'm too lazy to find out it xDDDDD But if I unexpectedly know about it, I congratulate xDD
