I am sorry I didn't acknowledge this sooner - (you must think I'm rude), but I've only just found them by accident when I was changing my avatar.

To give other people reputation points is it right that I; click on 'Rate Post', then 'Approve'/'Disapprove', 'Comments' and finally 'Add Reputation' ???

Secondly, I want to tell you how nice I think this gesture is. It's very good of you to publicly thank everyone for giving you points. Very nice.

I saw your post in the Site Feedback section(I think it was?) about apologizing to everyone, but you needn't apologize for anything. I haven't seen anything wrong with any of your posts. I think you are a good poster. A model citizen, if you will!

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you why I moved this post and that I like it very much.

No, it's not free jeff - I've got to make a living somehow

When I first joined JREF I used to also post on a 'ranting' website,which was pretty much a free for all,and at times it got a bit out of hand.
I was a regular on the thread about chavs. I made observations and also posted as chav characters,such as a girl called 'Chandelier' and her mum. I even posted a chav recipe under the name of Delia Smith.
In the end it got ridiculous. Real chavs were posting under my name and trying to insult me by saying I was a 'wildlife helper', among other things.
The site soon became nothing but a slanging match and I gave up on it.

JREF is a much more level-headed affair,with many interesting ideas knocking around, as well as all the information on Japan I could ever need,of course.

I booked my plane ticket for my next trip to Japan last friday (I go in october), so hopefully JREF can be of help to me in the meantime...

Is it something simply forbidden in that country, or something so much hidden that it's not on the Web?

CORR: sorry, "libertin" seems to be only a french word. I found "licentious" in a French-English dictionnary, even if I doubt that it has the same signification...
