Hello there, I am hoping that I may have luck joining this Forum. I'm trying to locate and trace the existence of a securities company. Details as follows - Fortune International Level 9, AIG Building, 1-1-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo 100-0005 Japan. Tel: 813 5288 5931 Fax: 813 5288 5932. www.fortune-int.com. In 2001 (23 years ago!) I purchase US shares through this company. Does anyone have any information about this company as it appears they no longer exist and there seems to be no trace of them whatsoever. Kind regards, Michael.

Do you have evidence that they were legitimate to begin with? Did they send you regular statements? You have to register but you can find out the history behind their domain name to see when it was created and how long it lasted here.

Hello, I want to thank you for your input. You know this was in 2001 early years of internet. I have accessed WHOIS history look up for this .com website but it seems they are not listed. All I received from this company at this time was a letter advising me of my shares purchase details and a client number. I did not receive any statements, and at this time my I move home and my address changed. I supposedly was a shareholder for Adtegrity.Com Inc. In 2017 Adtegrity.Com delisted and merged with Media Place Partners, but Adtegrity.Com became private and became the parent company. What happened to Adtegrity.Com shareholders, did they receive a payout? If there was a payout at the time of the merger what happened to unclaimed shareholders payout?

In the U.S. such unclaimed funds are usually given to the state to manage. It seems that this was a Michigan company so if you're lucky you'll search your name here and the funds are sitting there waiting for you.
