I'd tell him/her about it. I am also in a similar situation except I don't know the person living next door. I find it funny the first couple of times but it happens so often now (almost on a daily basis) that I find it annoying... The thing is, I don't know the person so is there nothing I can do????

lol, I went to backpackers in Australia, while I was sleeping they had sex below me... silents sex thank god haha. And also one time in the bathroom, I walked out of the room, and when I came back 15min later the whole room was full of water because of the sex in the shower... I needed to help....
I also had sex in a hostel while having other people in the room, they Nigirians in the room where not happy with that, and asked me: "why are you in this room, doesn't she have a own room... my response? well uuu this is another girl...

I can understand the situation, I think. It may be alikened to the roommate's sitting there having some good pizza when you come back, and not being offered any. The natural human thing to do is to share.
In this case it is not something which is usually shared, which is fine, but it is something as natural as eating or almost any other human activity related to bonding situations--only one doesn't usually share--so it makes the brains of others kind of want the same.
If the roommate were trying to hide the fact, or keep out of your knowledge, then tell him about your feelings. If that is not the case (that is your roommate is very open about sex) then I would suggest maybe putting on some good sexual content DVD, or if you were with your partner, getting it on at the same time in a different room, or getting another roommate.
I have had some experiences like this on both sides of the issue and it never really bothered me nor did I bother anyone else (as far as I can tell). Let us know what happens.
Oh, and your thread may have gone to archives, but I think that putting up a new start may be a good idea. Thanks Damicci san !!

No problem, but I am not having the problem I have a roommate and the gf came and we are 2 consenting adults and so yeah. I try to not make it so obvious play music a bit loud to drown what maybe over heard and then act is if nothing ever happened afterwards. I can only guess that you have the same respect for others as you would want for you. I anything I would just make myself scarce then check bater later.

I sometimes wonder about this from the other side. My neighbours are a middle-aged couple who sleep on the other side of the house from our bedroom. Their son (24/25) sleeps right next to our bedroom. Since his parents don't go out much, we have only heard him having sex once, and it was funny! I couldn't look at him the next day! But it made me think that he must be able to hear us too

Well So you have a roommate and you can tend to hear him/her going at it with there significant other. Do you tell them to stop make some comment about hearing them what would you do?
this happens in the dorms i live in all the time. though most the time its them that can hear me. belive me some people are the least bit ashamed as to opening my door and walking in on us just for the heck of it.

lol we have rules againts that. but we are all good friends that live here so. other then that if they cant get a door key they will just knock on the door and make noice.
