sorry to bring back to life an old thread but I would like to say my part. I think its a matter of what people think is beauty. Personally I think that women are beautiful and men simply arent. Men dont have curves, nice facial structures, and overall beauty when compared to a woman. I think that people such as Gackt, hyde, and other visual kei types of people simply are expressing what they think is beauty. I also think its a matter of culture. I know that some of the women that like gackt's style dont find cacasian men attractive. Some of these men look simply barbaric to them. The europeon nose, the stiff chin, the facial hair, the body hair..its simply not attracitve. Its not that these women like gackt because he looks like a woman. He has good features that are considered beautiful (which again, is a woman quality) yet, is male and is aggressive like anyother man is. Thanks just my view on it.
Btw, I am male and straight,but I find people like Gackt and Hyde "cool" not sexual attrative. Also the music isnt bad either, as thats what I like first and foremost. True Gackt and Hyde can pass as females, with some slight adjustments...but id rather look like them, then a big brute, hairy caveman,barbarian.
