If you're an X-Japan fan, try www.seika.org/anime/xjapan for scores. I just got Crucify my Love off there, I had been looking for ages! (Ok, maybe I'm just dumb and was looking in the wrong places, lol) Prints out a bit small, but...

I am quite slow on learning piano - mainly coz I have to memorise everything - but I *will* persist! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did?😌 Heh you were right! :D I am not very good at piano but i am trying my best to learn songs on it! I might take a while to learn this one cuz it sounds to be really hard. 😭
 
lol yeah... I haven't tried yet (I need to print out here at work cos my printer at home sucks :( )

Yeah i know! I have tons of piano scores on my computer but i rarely print one cuz they are so difficult. But i will make it! One day i will play X Japan's songs and Regret very good.:D
 
yup yup - I figured as long as I keep on hitting the right keys in the right order at the right time... there you go! va va voom! It can't be that impossible.... :? :LOL: That's why I started with difficult classical pieces - I thought "haha! if I can learn this, I can learn anything!" Well... maybe............... 😊

Oh, me too! Strange - I find it really difficult to memorise on guitar, but on keyboard I honestly can't learn any other way :mad:

But I like memorising. :-) I can't imagine how I could learn any piece without it...

Same here. So what is your fav song on piano? Mine is Moonlight Sonata from Beethoven:-)
 
rofl @ self - I only learned 3 pieces so far. :LOL: I got a book of '85 classical pieces' and I've done 3...

I think Air on the G String is my favourite (I kid you not!!!!!!)

Or, maybe the first one that I learned which was Sonata in D minor by somebody Albinoni (I forgot his first name :sorry: )

Which, er, leaves the second one only, which I can't stand, but I made myself learn it anyways cos I know what I'm like, if I don't have discipline I just never learn anything and all at random :(
 
Hehe...I have to find some good piano sheets now. Possibly from Jrock music or i might loose interests in playing piano:(
 
I only started playing in March - I got a keyboard when I started singing lessons and wanted to pitch my starting note - the guitar had too many distracting resonances :p

I already knew music and theory and stuff though, so I had a bit of a head start.

Hehe, it was X Japan made me think that it is cool to play keyboard, too! 😊

I started playing the keyboard because I needed something that took a lot of concentration to take my mind off **** that was happening. It worked! 😄

Me too! Yoshiki is so cool when he plays piano! I love his solos at the lives from X Japan. :-)
