Here's an entertaining "Netizen's Guide to Flame Warriors" catalogued by Mike Reed. Mike attempts to describe some of the main belligerents one might encounter in a mailing list, news group, bulletin board or chat room: "The internet can be cruel and unforgiving, and those who wander out onto the battlefield would be well advised to know their enemies."

What a wicked website... I loved Grenade, and garble.

I don't want to say what I am, for fear of seeming too egotistical.... and I don't think I fit into one catagory...

I think I could be a Philosopher some times... maybe even a Kung Fu Master (is that asking too much?, especially in political matters?). definately been a duelist lately... Senseiman and I have had a running battle across this board.
