Hi Folks!
I love fireworks!
Is the fireworks, witch will display on Sumida river Tokyo on last Saturday in July, worth to see? I have heard it is one of the kind! I have plan to visit in Tokyo in July so should I be in Tokyo in that time?
Is there any other big fireworks during end of July or begining of August?

There is always a big one here in Nagano at Suwa--Suwako Hanabi Taikai--on August 16th. They also have a show of new works in early September (I think it was) too.

I would suggest you try to make the Suwa one, but go the day before and get a good spot from in the morning, then picnic all day by the lake on that spot--or if you're with friends, take turns holding it. It gets very crowded, but it is a very good show every year !!👍

It seems there are a lot of interesting fireworks around Tokyo area in July.

Just neet to choose the best or most suitable to our travel plans.

If you're lucky enough to spend one day more in Tokyo, go and see "jingu baseball park firework fes", near Shinjuku, on August 1, too. This is the festival I like the best in Tokyo.
I don't know if you can get the ticket, rather difficult from overseas, but I am sure you will fully enjoy the firework outside the park.
