Expenses in Japan

I will be travelling to japan over work visa in a month. I need to know few very important information which would help me in settling down in japan. I am an Indian citizen travelling first time to Japan.

1. Good site to learn Japanese
2. Cheap accommodation for couple near Yokohama or Tokyo (Travel distance upto 1 hour)
3. Cheap mobile + data + voice plan or should I get a phone from India?
4. Good site/store to get Indian groceries
5. Overall monthly expense for two.
6. What should be the average salary of a 4 year experienced IT Engineer?

Please provide me the information. I would like to know your experiences as well.

If you already have a work visa, you know what you will get paid. If you think you can get a work visa without a job and instead come here to search for that job, you are mistaken.

He probably wants to know if he is being paid fairly. Indian companies have a history of exploiting tech workers. When I worked in IT in Tokyo, we had a few contract employees employed by Tata and they were paid significantly less than market.
