Position Master Planner – Okinawa , Japan

Job Description
MCFA is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Master Planners to support potential clients in Okinawa. The Master Planners will support a variety of projects that will help key Department of Defense Missions relocate to Okinawa, Japan.
The Master Planner may perform duties to include but are not limited to:
• Development of Basic Facility Requirements (BFR)
• Identification of buildable sites to accommodate mission requirements
• Ability to lead and facilitate visioning sessions
• Development of master plan documents and reports
• Development of Department of Defense construction programming documentation
• Coordination with United States Marine Corps and US Army installations on Okinawa
• Development of GIS Mapping
Desired Experience
• Master Planning in Japan
• Master Planning for United States Marine Corps missions
• Experience as an master planner
• AICP Certification
• LEEP AP Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
• Communicate in English both orally and in writing and experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and in briefing management personnel.
• Knowledge of master planning principles and processes.
Required Background
• A minimum of 5 years' experience
• Previous overseas experience
• Ability to pass a Background Check and obtain Government Credentials
Education Requirement
• 4 yr. planning degree or equivalent.
