Hello,
How do you make a embedded wh-clause in Japanese?
For instance:

a. Sam likes the meat. - Standard declarative SV-clause
b. Who likes the meat? - Matrix interrogative wh-clause focusing on the subject
c. They asked who likes the meat. - Embedded interrogative wh-clause focusing on the subject

So basically, how do you form a sentence like the 'c' above
Also how would you make a sentence like this with words like "why" or "what",

Before answering your new question, did you read our replies to your previous questions? Any response?

Hello,
Yes I did, excuse if you was expecting an answer. I have used several fora where answering was not really usual to do. But if it looked like I was being rude. I now apologize and will thank people for replying from now on if that is what is usual.

We want to know at least whether our answers make sense to you or not.

誰が / なぜ / なに ~ (なの)か(を / と)
or
~は誰 / なぜ / なに(なの)か(を / と)
is used for embedded questions. You can't use です / ます form here.

彼らは誰が肉を好き(なの)か(と)聞いた
彼らは肉を好きなのは誰なのか(と)聞いた
