Hehe, don't blame me for any trouble this gets you in (j/k), but I love you is "aishite iru." I used to stumble across it accidentally when I was trying to
say "ai suru" (to meet) , otherwise "(name) ga daisuki" is more natural.

Wakarimshita. うまく行くといいわね。

The only thing really "henna gaijin" about it is using "Itadaku" for a situation like this in which I wasn't responding to a request from you to write and you aren't my social superior trying to humble yourself. Kureru is much better.
