Elizabeth's 4,000th post!

Hey, I'm fashionably late, but I wanted to express my thanks to Elizabeth too. Without fine folks like you, there'd be no forum. As I anxiously stand on the precipice between casual self-study and studying in Japan, I will never forget those of you who have helped me, including Elizabethさん. おめでとう~!

お聞きいただいて、ありがとうございます。残念な事に、僕は二月か三月まで待っています。歯がゆいんです。けど、楽観的なんです。 (This took a long time to construct. I hope it's right. きゃあ!僕は英語を話しています!)

Hehe, don't blame me for any trouble this gets you in (j/k), but I love you is "aishite iru." I used to stumble across it accidentally when I was trying to
say "ai suru" (to meet) :p, otherwise "(name) ga daisuki" is more natural.

Wakarimshita. うまく行くといいわね。:-)

The only thing really "henna gaijin" about it is using "Itadaku" for a situation like this in which I wasn't responding to a request from you to write and you aren't my social superior trying to humble yourself. Kureru is much better. 😅

Thank you. See why you're so valued 'round these parts? ^_^
