I've encountered this a lot in anime, and I seem to think that it's cute. What can you say about this? By the way, does this expression eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh common in Japan? Like by real woman not just anime?

If she's Sola Aoi that goes "eeeeehhhhhh", then it will be cute.

If she's Beyonce, and goes "eeehh" I would puke.

I think it is kind of cute sometimes, when used to express actual surprise, but after watching TV a lot of the charm go away I'd say.
