Eavesdropping

So I went out the other night, before I had gone out (during the day time) I had been in the presence of this person with bad energy who was on his cellphone and I heard him say "Yeah, it's him," while smiling. I thought nothing of it because most people in America give off this sort of bad energy. So as I was mentioning before I went out the other night and this same person who had been in my presence before sat next to me with their Japanese friend and began talking about Japan as loud as possible. Well it was the same guy who I had seen before but now he was with a Japanese person. Their conversation seemed directed at me as if they wanted me to respond to what they were saying but my inner-voice was telling me not to, that I had to ignore it at all costs and so I ignored them.

Now though, I wonder what their intentions were and I wonder why my inner-voice told me to ignore them.
