Yea... I like working, but it does a number on you... youi know being on your feet all day and all the heavy lifting.

lol, tell me about it... when i was working..... blimy.. heh... i worked at a horse riding school...
up at half 7, walk up there fro 9... muck out 7/8 stables (ie, take out all the straw that's covered in crap and replace it with clean stuff) run round the school 6 bijillion times... cart tack around all day...

.... i never complained tho... i kinda enjoyed it last year... untill they started paying me and i realised just quite howmuch they were taking me for a ride....
but, yeah, i was pertty exausted on my days off... i'd completely laze around.

... what bugs m is my sister does one day of... similar work, and she's bawling her eyes out saying it's hell... i did three months solid everyday except tuesday and sunday....
psh.....

lol, errr.... cos my school's evil....
we don't break up over here till halfway through july usually.....
we get other holidays that you guys don't tho....
bu we only get, err... 7 weeks summer...
 
I worked like that for over 4 years... :D I left my other job in february... 4 years is too much and I was treated like **** and underpaid... the place I work is much better and I get better pay, health coverage, awesome discount, and loads of other stuff.

Oh... your schedule just runs different... well I'm off for a year. Only cause I dropped out XDDD I really want to go to art school so I am saving up to go next year. :-)

yeah.... they only started paying me after working 3 months solid, better then the people the did pay... for nothing....
and then i was payed below minimum pay... and still had to pay for any riding lessons i wanted...

Yea and working at a art supply store I can get a good reference and discounts on my supplies is very nice *nods* I really like it there... I get such great benefits and the people are so nice. ...and discount! 😆 I can take their art classes free and they said I may be able to teach classes too and make even more money :-)

but it doesn't help by the fact i have no real reference, and i'm still at school...
pluss... i need flexible hours.... which was the pluss about my last job, because... i wasn't under contract so there wasn't really anything they could do about it...
 
Aww well look around... I never thought I would get a job there. I applied just for the hell of it. My friend applied a few days before me and got turned down... I was shocked I got it.
 
Wow, cool! Wish I worked in the art shop and could get discounts... Never mind, I got loads of canvases in a half price sale lately (think I bought about half their stock 😊 ). I had a job once in a tree nursery where I spend all day either bent double in the middle of thorn bushes or constantly stretching to arm's length... (that sounds so....... 😌 ) but only for about 3 months though!

Half price canvases... eccktually *puts on snooty voice* they were in Gadsbys 😲 stuff reduced from like ﾂ｣20 to ﾂ｣10 and such like :-) The works rules tho for cheap canvas and stuff 👍
