If you watch Japanese television at all you can hardly have escaped seeing this man's annoying commercials. Recently he has been in the news for saying he wants to take over the lead sponsorship spot for Japan's iconic Sazae-san broadcast, which is being dropped by Toshiba after a 48 year relationship.
Now he's in the news again, this time for tweeting that the Rape of Nanking and Auschwitz were fake.
