Hi,

I was wondering what the main differences are between the 2 following phrases:

Doushite nihongo wo benkyou shimasu ka?

Naze nihongo wo benkyou suru no?

Also, is it ok to asnwer something like:

Watashi wa nihongo ga suki da kara desu.

thanks!

There's not much difference between naze and doushite - it's just like "why/how come" in English.
And answering to "naze/doushite" with "~kara" is correct.

Of the two, なぜ is considered more polite, though, so I don't think you'll see it often with a casual form of 'する' And 勉強している is correct for "are studying."
