I used to love deviantART, but now I hate it. =_=' They practically took off most of my deviations... so yeah. I'm not on my account anymore. They have way to strict rules. It's fun at first, until you accidentally break a tiny rule.
 
You scary me. Is it for real? That's bad, really bad.

I suppose they have no bandwith for keeping ALL the images that's why they delete some.

i am actually planing to open my account on deviant art... as soon as i find some spare time....

well, i have some drawings, and some photos... but i have to put it first on my computer, and then maybe to publish it... but i am not sure if they are good...
but ill give a try 😊
 
Haha, if you knew really how much of these photos I posted I think as of good ones. :D But if the people likes it, that's enough. (for a while. :P)

yeah, i'm on DA, tho, i'm avoiding it at the moment....
i got tottaly addicted when i first joined.. and i've made some pretty good frineds on there... including a wife *giggles*... don't ask ^^;
but yeah, latly i've been avoiding it... i just got a little bored woth the constant popularity contest that goes on there.... it becomes a lot less about the art its self, and so much more about just chatting and saying 'o, that's puuuurdiful'
i sitll recomend it to a lot of people, because i've learnt a lot fomr there... but if you're really serious about art, there are other places that credit your work a lot better.

I'll stick for now with DA, there are many of my friends there.

But it's really troublesome on commenting the artwork. I specialise in photography andd hardly anyone had SOMETHING creative to say in that matter. :(

You don't actually get any exposure on DA, unless you spend time networking... I don't have time for that, so my presence on DA is pretty pointless. It's all about who you know, not about how good you are.

I'm not sure Iunderstand. What is networking?

Only matters who you know? That's sad. :(
 
Networking... you know. You have to comment on the works of other artists and hopefullly they'll visit your page too and comment on your work. That's currently the only way to get your art seen.

Yes, it is kinda sad, but then again it's unavoidable. If people don't know you're there, they're very unlikely to visit your page.
 
But there are photos displayed on the main page. some people learns from there that you exist, ne?

I don't like one thing: this thanking for fav everywhere. :-D that's a real plague. :-D
 
I have an account but I don't have much up there since I have my own website anyway. And the site is pretty slow at times, so I don't even bother to browse it much - I hate waiting!! x) Also, I'm nto into all that networking... I don't want to sound rude but I really do think it's useless to have someone comment on your work positively just to get points.
 
are you getting any points form having comments? O.o
 
At DA? Absolutely no idea. I haven't checked my account for a year or so ^^;
