DANG YOU'RE SO LUCKY!!! That would've been so cool just to be near them (I can picture myself hyperventalating )

man I had the date that was supposed to be TOC in Montreal written in my agenda but it was erased, and it made me feel really sad :( I wish they stuck with the maybe dates they ahd before, that would've been so cool!
 
Yay! Taste of Chaos was awesome! I was kind of busy the last couple of days so I couldn't tell ya'll about it. I missed their first song cause of traffic but they played 5 or 6 more songs so it was ok! They are AMAZING live!!
One thing I have to say that I knew but was still shocked by... they are so... SHORT! 😄 Except for Karyu but other than that.. short. Its kinda cute! :D
I missed the signing and was bummed about that but ended up getting a poster and shirt anyway. I also got *drum roll* (no pun intended) one of Tsukasa's drums sticks!! 👍 So that made up for it!! (Sort of XD)

The shortness is kind of strange to me... I mean I am tall.. well not that tall 5'9" and for some reason I couldnt conceptualize me a 16 year old girl being taller than grown men. :D

and btw Why is it that almost every live report I have read they are always on Zero's side?! *random observation* (so was I lol) Is no one ever one Karyu's side?! LOL He is all alone! XD I wanted to make my way over to his side but was so not dealing with the crowd. XD
 
aww i wanted to be on Karyu's side (he's my fav. out of D'espairsRay) but sadly when i got in his side was filled and i wanted to be close to the front so i took Zero's side
 
haha I was on Karyu's side both RTOC shows I went to @_@ No matter what the band, though, I always tend to gravitate towards the middle-right for some reason...

Seems like everyone who went had fun...Suzuki, that's really cool that you got one of Tsukasa's cool sticks XD I really want to catch one someday!

im also 5'8", so i commiserate XD the members of despa are especially short too :3 most of my japanese guy friends have been taller than me, so dont worry!!! theres hope!!! XD (in fact especially the one i like but lalala nothing to do with this thread XD)

and thats a SICK drumstick... thats so amazing... actually catching something like that!!! high fiiii~ve!
 
Karyu looks really tall, especially compared to the other members. I don't know how it is when you see him live in front of you though.
 
Oh yeah, i got G&auml;rnet as well :D ...Oh *AND* the Ltd Edition Squall release with the Karyu photocard >< (I only had the regular before!). The MaV, Squall and G&auml;rnet came to about &pound;100, oh my! :o

I'm lucky to have a brother who volunteers to pay for it all. *&not;*

So clips of Brilliant and Cocoon are up on their OHP and their official MySpace. What do you think of them?
I can't really say anything particular because the clips are very short, but the least is that I'm not shocked by it or something and that's already positive. But well, I can't judge right now, I have to wait until I can listen to the whole songs.
Oh, and there are some blog entries in English on their MySpace, if you haven't noticed yet. :)
 
I actually have the full mp3 of BRILLIANT. I'm unsure where it came from, it was on Mediafire.

(The only reason I downloaded it was because I have pre ordered my first press copy from CD Japan, and so I didn't feel bad about getting it for free in the knowledge i'd uhh... paid for it? :S *I* know what I mean anyway!)

BRILLIANT took some getting into; but I must say after about two days of having it on repeat, it's one of my favourites. I was humming and "lala"ing at it and I didn't even realise. :S

cocoon Is excellent, and I *mean*, excellent. (I don't have the full version, but what I've heard is stuck in my head, and honestly, I don't want it out).

Their sound is changing and at first it was a little shocking, but honestly, I love them to bits, they're the best at what they do in my opinion and always will be. I like the new stuff just as much as the old.

Being on Zero's side was fine with me he's my fav! 😍
Karyu is tall however I dont know if it was just cause I was across the hall from him but he didnt seem that tall. 😄 Maybe it was because I was with my brother who is 6' 4". lol

I am reeeeaally excited about Brilliant! I want it so bad >.< and have been having to resist mp3 downloads cause I feel like it ruins getting new CD but that is just me. lol I have been listening to all my D'espa music like crazy!

Suzuki: I do the same thing- I resist listening to mp3's before I get my copy because then I feel it isn't as exciting the first time I actually put the CD in. It's hard but I thank myself every time I follow through with it. XD; Thankfully Brilliant's release isn't too far away now; I've already heard such good things about it though!

Hm, a Q&A? Sounds interesting; I'd say go for it. :3
