hehe, that's okay; the two lists look pretty similar upon first glance anyway. When TOC first posted the dates on their site I thought for a minute they were the same as the tentative ones, but then I looked at the dates of the ones I wanted to go to and was like "wooooah woah woah that's pretty off..." XD

Does anyone know if they'll be performing in Canada??? I read somewhere that they wouldn't..... (is at the brink of tears)

As of right now, no one seems to be sure whether or not they will be with the Canadian dates as well. A lot of people are assuming no just because of some particular wording on the TOC website, but D'espairsRay said they would be playing 40+ dates through their first fanclub announcement, and since there are only 30-some US dates one may assume that they will be with the Canadian ones as well.

I think the best thing to do right now is wait until TOC does an official release of the Canadian dates and see if things are clarified. If they aren't, best to just contact them directly about it.
 
That would be really logic. So there's still hope for people living in Canada that D'espairsRay will also be playing there.

And I'm still waiting for those pics someone mentioned earlier but couldn't post because he/she didn't have enough posts yet.
 
I just still can't believe that D'espairsRay are going to be one of the bands at Taste of Chaos! I mean, this is HUGE! I'm so proud of them I could cry...

Random small bit of news, but I was reading a live report from their live yesterday, and the name of one of their new songs is "Brilliant". Since the names are being decided, I hope this means we don't have to wait much longer for the next single!
 
In reference to Zero and Karyu being the perfect couple, i'd rather see Karyu and Tsukasa get it on. I love them both to death. Me and my friend have this huge private joke where we write these insane stories which are as follows:

Karyu and Tsukas are a gay couple.
Zero is somewhat retarded and naive.
Hizumi is the mother figure and has a haddock fetish.
They have saucy adventures together.
Zero has a guinea pig called Bunny.
Karyu's father was an international playboy, vet, traffic warden, spy, and also Captain Birdseye.

I really really hope I can go to see them live but think I am going to be in Europe at the time. :(

"Brilliant" doesn't begin to sum up what that song will be, hehe! <33 I just realised i have 850 pictures of D'espa: about 360 of Karyu and 235 of Tsukasa. Know what my first reaction was? I NEED MORE OF TSUKASA. :'( Haha, i'm insane :D

Yeah they do on the Sword website, if that's what you were referring to. My Japanese friend called them (I was shocked she went to the trouble as i hardly know her :S) and she said shipping from the website to the UK would be about &pound;25 for a photocard set or something. Ahem, i think not. :S (Even though i spent $132 on a signed copy of Spiral Staircase #15..)

I saw them in the UK. I got my parents to pay &pound;40 for two tickets and to drive me four hours over there to pick up the reserved tickets (got them at such late notice, BUT i went straight in :D) and then got a Closer To Ideal [Liquidize] Photobook annnnd was front row all night. Lots of lovely people there. I touched Karyu (was smack bang in front of him) and got the old black "+D'espairsRay+ KARYU" pick and the water bottle he drunk from, touched Tsukasa's drumstick and Hizumi spat on me.

Woah this thread is very dead! Where is the D'espa love? Taste of Chaos starts this Friday in Denver (I think 😌) is anyone going? I am very excited (maybe a little anxious?) to hear how they are received!

I already have my tickets but Seattle is the last location on the tour (or close to it!) it seems so far away! :( I can't wait! :D

Yep, I'm going to two shows next week! I can't wait. And actually, speaking of their birthdays, the first one I'm going to is on Hizumi's birthday, and the second one is two days before Tsukasa's birthday. XD

hey do you mind if I ask, where'd you get your tickets for the seattle show? and do you know if it's sold out?

btw, I'm pretty sure I heard that Despa is finally going to release something new! Supposedly a new single is coming out in may (still so far away >_<)

Oh wow. This thread is so long it's not even funny. I just started liking Despa and wanted to learn more about them but there's so many pages! :unsure: There's no way I can go through them all.:( Could someone please help me out. 😌 I liked the few songs I heard of them and really really want to learn more about them. I'd be eternally grateful. 🙏

For more information, you could also check www.jame-world.com. It seems most fan sites I've seen aren't really active anymore; I was thinking of constructing one but I don't know if I'd have time to maintain it (and the ability to create a decent-looking site XD )
