Yeah, that's why I'm really put off. I mean, they can't always necessarily predict how well something will sell through preorders, but D'espairsRay has had some good sale numbers from their site in the past year or so...well, I shouldn't complain any more because I don't know exactly how this stuff works, as far as the number pressed and how they're distributed... XD;
In summation: not mad at CDJapan (yet XD only if it gets delayed again...that would suck), just mad that I won't have Spiral Staircase ASAP. XD

That's how I feel...CDjapan always worked for me in the past and this is the first time they got a delay. I'm just mad that I won't have it as soon as I have thought and will get a bit more pissed off if it delays even more.
And it doesn't seem to be only a problem with CDjapan, I've heard that hmv also also sent mails with this announcement.

Yeah, I noticed how on HMV they don't seem to even have the link up to order Spiral Staircase at the moment (unless I overlooked it). Guess everyone got swamped with orders and it just wasn't anticipated...

Yup, mine too! That's a relief; I would have gone crazy if I had to wait any longer.
I guess maybe they don't ship ANY preorders until they have enough in stock to fulfill them all, and they're all just now being sent out? *ponder* XD That seems like it'd make sense...

omg I'm so JEALOUS!!! You guys are so lucky!!! I even went through the trouble of loosing it and BEGGING my mom to order the DVD for me in a shopping mall! ...but it didn't work.....she hates it when i sit infront of the TV for HOURS watching and re-watching lives....well that's what I think anyways.

Yes, I was surprised, too. I didn't expect it so soon (and the EMS tracking still said it was in Tokyo and only said "Frankfurt" even after I had the DVD) and thought it would arrive tomorrow or on Wednesday. So I was still asleep when the postman rang my bell. xD
But you could be right when you say that maybe I got it so early because Germany is a little bit closer or something like that. And please tell me when you get it!
So far I have watched until Mirror (I usually watch DVDs in the evening) and it's so great! I love the intro to "Damned" and the audience is jumping all the time except for the quiet part of "Angeldust" which is really emotional somehow. And: Zero is moving all the time!! A miracle! *g*

hehe, I'll let you know when I get it then. It didn't come with the mail today, so it'll probably be tomorrow or Wednesday. I can't wait to see it, but at least this way I can get more homework done and out of the way before I get to watch it. XD

Since the time when I still went to school isn't that long ago, I can fully understand what you mean. 
I have watched the DVD till the end and all I can say is that it's just sooo great. I think it's better than Liquidize. But maybe it's because it is new. The Mirror-songs are awesome live, especially Hollow and Kogoeru yoru ni saita hana. Another highlight for me is desert. You immediately notice that Zero is much more active. But he didn't stop smiling, so that's ok.
Karyu goes more and more crazy during the encores. Tsukasa is concentrated as always but in the backstage stuff you can see that he can be quite funny, too. The backstage stuff in general is so amazing.
I don't know if it's just me, but I think there were also more males in the audience than on Liquidize. Nothing important, I just noticed.

Sounds really great! :3 Mine still hasn't come, which means it really SHOULD come tomorrow, but even so I won't be able to watch it until Thursday or Friday due to classes getting in the way. okay, so I actually managed to watch it yesterday after all (and I still got my work done! XD).
It really was amazing. I gotta say first off that I LOVE how they set up the stage and had all the lighting effects on the giant spiral, especially during the opening of Closer to Ideal. I was also a bit surprised to see the special effects, like the "explosion" at the beginning of Mirror, and the smoke machines during Desert. Oh, and when the snow-confetti started falling during Kaleidoscope, I seriously almost teared up, it was soooo beautiful and just the right timing for that. The song on its own gets me everytime, but seeing that atmosphere with it = ;_;
They still seem to have a lot of fun in general on stage, which is great. :3 I love how happy they look when everyone's singing to Kogoeru yoru ni saita hana. Also, the footage really captures their energy well. I actually got really nostalgic for JRR while watching the songs from Mirror.
Well, I porobably need to watch it through a few more times to take everything in, but that's what I could think of off the top of my head at the moment.
Oh! kallima, did you find the secret footage? If not, just put your DVD in the player, leave it on the menu for a few minutes (don't touch any button!), and the secret footage will automatically start.

I totally agree with what you said about the lighting. At the end of Mirror, everything is dark (=black) for a few seconds except for the blue spiral light. That was very impressing.
I'm always happy to see that they still have fun at their lives. It doesn't look like they just do their jobs because they have to do it, but actually like doing it, and that's important. Sorry to Amita and others, we're not trying to make anyone jealous by talking about it, but it is really worth discussing so I hope no one actually gets upset or anything...
kallima- sorry, I don't understand enough to really know what he is saying. The only part that I (think) I understand is when the fans all randomly start going "whooo! whooo!" And Hizumi is just kinda like "...what's with the 'fuuu' (whoooo)?" XD; Not 100% sure of that, but that's what it sounds like to me. (don't quote me anywhere is all I'm saying XD )
But as for the rest of the talking (I'll white this out...just in case someone wants to buy it/see it before finding out about all the extra stuff), They basically just make a running joke out of the whole Karyu accidentally punching Hizumi in the face/throat thing. XD But I bet you figured that much out. Also the part where Karyu is just kind of like "...I'm sorry?" makes me lol hardcore XDDD It's so hard to hear what Hizumi is saying exactly when he speaks at a normal speed AND into a mic...I'm sorry ._. I'll try harder in the future to make his words out.

Thanks for the "wohoo" bit, I couldn't figure it out. =) I only understand random words like "today" etc.
The part where Hizumi talks about the "accident" has to be funny, everyone laughs at least. I understood that it is supposed to be a joke, but I don't understand anything Hizumi says. Though Karyu's "Gomen ne!" is hilarious! It sounds like he says it because his mother told him:"Karyu-chan, please tell the man that you feel sorry!" xD I have to admit that I rarely understand what Hizumi or Tsukasa say. In fact, I don't understand much anyway, but those two always talk in a normal speed or quite fast. I don't know why, but Karyu is more understandable somehow. xD
I think we need to find someone who really understands everything and who can tell us more about the speech.

Yeah, sorry I'm not much help yet in the translation department. X3; Anything I know at this point is still way too basic and textbook-like to fully comprehend "everyday" speech. Someday, though... XD
But anyway, it still all manages to be pretty funny even when you can't hear exactly what they're saying. XD
