.. yes.. you did say that out loud .. but .. it's so true.. Hizumi is the smex.. and he's got a voice that could melt glass.:-)

No one knows who you are though, so it's alright^^ I can never get embarassed though, I would say anything publicly;p

Btw, I also love his voice. I used to think Kyo's voice was perfect, but he's actually not that good live. No I mean he is good, he sounds a little different live, but Hizumi sounds perfect live. Because you usually you can tell the difference between live and recorded, but Hizumi practically sounds the same live as he does recorded. I love his voice.
 
I think his voice is a bit better than Kyo's, since he can stay in tune better while growling. :D

that's because kyo concentrates on emotion during lives, so his voice is technically shot most of the time, but hizumi IS pretty much perfect live, like you guys say ^_^ i love hizumi's voice the most in terms of technical perfection, but that's not what completely makes a vocalist to me.

that's exactly what I thought when I saw them...

D'espa just does an awesome live. If you weren't a fan before you will be after seeing them live. I brought my friend (she's not a Jrock fan) to see them and she loves them hahah...she's really wants to see them again.
 
Well of course, D'espairsRay are awesome!

And I don't think one has to be a "J-rock" fan to like them, really.

Maybe just being a heavy rock fan is good enough?
 
It's like that with me. I'm just a fan of rock music who happens to like some Japanese rock bands.
 
haha my friend isn't any type of rock fan and she likes them hehehehe......but maybe it's because hizumi is hot
 
I also really loved Hizumi's voice in live, it's technically good. 👍 I love live performance of music, so if an artist is less good live than on CD, it doesn't do it for me. But for D'espa, it's all good :p
 
Hizumi's voice is one of my all-time favourite voices in music...it doesn't just go into the ears, but right into heart and soul when you listen to it. It's the same with their music in general and that's why I like it so much.
 
Yikes, 4 days away from Internetland seems like forever...

Anyway, good news! They're releasing a new live DVD on September 5. Also, according to recent interview material (check the JrockRevolution site for their D'espairsRay interview Jrockrevolution ) they should have a new single out by the end of this year (I believe that's what they're saying...), and a new album out next year. <3

Mmm I think so too! I really like Kyo's emotional voice, but he sounds a little off nowadays. Hizumi's voice is too fuking perfect. I wish I could make love to his singing voice;p

Btw, I want more people to say Happy Birthday to me!! I feel like a lonely little fatboy;'( I became 17 on July 31!!^___^ I love the fact that my favourite band member from d'espairsray is born otn the exact same day as me^^ And he's hot too btw^^
 
well after listening to it a couple times through, Mirror is definitely one of the best albums I've heard ^^
