I were at D'espairsRay's consert! Yeah i know, nobody cares, but anyway.. It was awesome! They spit water and flirt with the fans.. (sorry for the bad english.. 😌 ) i bought their T-shirt.. and i love it! 😍
Hizumi spoke in finnish!!! (<-- did i write that correctly? Oh, who cares.. :p )
i almost died.. He asked "Onko hyva meininki Helsinki?" witch means "Are you having a good time Helsinki?" Or something like that.. :joyful: im not good with translations..

I just got back from the concert. It was fun and exciting! 😄 I was a bit nervous since it was the first live I've been to, but everything went well. There were a lot of people there. I didn't see any psycho fangirls (doesn't mean there weren't any though...) which was relieving. 😌 Well, there was one lady there who had to be at least in her late 50s, jumping up and down screaming "ZERO! ZERO! ZEROOOOOO! " over and over again. o_O

There was no opening band, and the whole thing lasted about 2 1/2 hours. I can't remember the names of everything they played, only that most of the songs were from Coll:set and Born, and one new song. My sister and I were not very close to the stage, but close enough to see things in detail and far away enough to see all the band members clearly. We were on Zero's side, the left.

Karyu, Zero, and Tsukasa were the first to come out on stage. They started playing some music, and then it got dark, and Hizumi appeared on stage. Hizumi didn't talk much during the show, just to introduce their new song and another time to talk a bit about their tour in Europe. Karyu and Zero switched sides a few times during the show. Hizumi was wearing dark pants and a black jacket with no shirt, and a few songs in he got rid of the jacket. I can't remember what any of the others were wearing except that it was black. Oh, and at one point Karyu wore some big hat.

The lighting was really good, and I felt it fit the mood of each song. The yokohama blitz is pretty big, and changed the lighting effects a lot. I'm only a beginner at guitar and know nothing about bass and drums, so I'm in no position to critique their skills. I thought they sounded really good though.

My sister isn't a fan of the band, or rock music in general. I guess she only came for the experience, or because I promised to take her to see a movie this week. XD She did say "That guy on our side with the cool hair" (Zero) was hot, and was the only thing that kept her from leaving and dragging me with her. :LOL: I didn't see this, but she also said that at one point in the show, Hizumi fell into the crowd (how could someone NOT notice a person falling into the crowd, where was my mind? XD), and some guy came rushing out from backstage to help him, and as he was being pulled up, some girl grabbed his butt. Leave it to my sister to pay extra attention to something like that... :eek: :D

At the end of the show, the band did two encores, and Karyu and Zero threw their picks out into the audience, and Tsukasa threw his drumsticks. They all tossed water bottles into the crowd. Hizumi shook the water from his water bottle onto the people near his part of the stage, and Zero took great pleasure in spitting water all over the fans. I've never before seen people so happy to have water spit on them. XD

We didn't buy any merchandise or get autographs (the band was nowhere in sight, anyway), but that's fine with me. I would definately go see them again. Much of the night is a bit of a blur in my mind, so I'm trying to remember as much I can as best I can. I hope this is okay.
 
Whooo, thanks for the write-up! 😄 It sounds really cool. I'd've grabbed Hizumi's butt if he'd fell on me.... haha. :giggle:

Pink Usagi Chan; the hat Karyu was wearing was red silinter! he wore it on their europe tour too and they did all the things you mentioned here in finland too (except Hizumi didn't fell into the crowd).. i noticed that Karyu was the only one who smiled to the fans..

everything both you guys said happened here in london too, except he Hizumi didn't take of his jacket :( (not that i saw anyways) and he didn't fall into the crowed here either ^^;

BUT... Zero smiled a LOT to us...i nearly fainted (because i was right infront of him.. like,... litrally right up against the bar XD) and omigod yes he loves to spit that water XDDDD

and Karyu's insane onstage... he like... has so much energy!!!! and i love his hat 😊

it's interesting to know Hizumi didn't talk to the crowd much in Japan either....
i think it's actually a thing some bands have... like... to keeo the aura they dont' really speek much? because what i gather they generally don't talk to them....

however, Pura talked so much to us... it was so funny, no-one really knew waht they were saying... but they ALL still nattered on to us all the time XDDD


umm... pink usugie... you whent to Yokohama? i love it there... granted i saw VERY little of it while i was singing there, but the people were so friendly... it was possibly the most friendly place i whent to on the tour... but then i suppose we were their guests ^^;
still.... can i just ask howcomes you're in Japan? i would presume you're not Japanese cos... you're posting on here...
 
I thought Zero smiled a lot! Out of all the guys, he and Karyu seemed to enjoy themselves the most. Karyu kept making spazzy faces. XD Zero was the one who showed the crowd what to do each song, like headbanging or how to move their hands. I think Hizumi was really into his "tortured soul" act, and I couldn't see Tsukasa all that well. But Zero and Karyu smiled almost the whole time. One thing that surprised me was the fact that you could see Zero's face. It wasn't completely covered by his hair. In almost all the pictures I've seen, he's had his face hidden by his hair. I hadn't really noticed him before. He's not bad-looking at all, so why does he hide his face? XD

I also noticed that once everybody had found somewhere to stand before the show began, no one moved from that spot. I didn't see anyone pushing to get to the front. No crowd surges or anything. From what I've heard online, isn't it different in America and Europe?

Ah...furan, my sister would be so jealous. XD She's already talking about how she would love to go to another of their concerts with me, all so she can see Zero. She said "But this time, we're getting in the front row to see that guy(she can't even remember his name XD)." I'm afraid I've created a monster. XD

And no, I'm not japanese. I just live here. But, there have been some japanese posters on the forum before, most just post a few things and then disappear though. You were in Yokohama?

I heard that the Gaze show in Germany almost got called off because people pushed so hard that the barricades got knocked over.

But glad you had fun at the show!

There was a lot of headbanging. The girl next to my sister was headbanging pretty wildly.. her head must have hurt afterwords.. She would grab her friend's waist, bend her knees and shake her head all over the place. Her hair kept slapping my sister. XD

Those are really good pics. I honestly hadn't noticed Zero much before the live, since he likes to hide behind his hair a lot. But now I see there ARE a lot of pictures where you can see his face! He's really goodlooking.. 😊

the one good thing about seets is that you don't smack people in the face AS MUCH, but there's nothing to hold onto so i'd just fall over XDDDD she was wise to hold her friends waist ^.^
actually... there's nothing to hold onto in none seated gigs... and i have indeed fallen over many times XDDD but at big gigs like that everyones so packed together there's no need to hold on cos there's not way you can fall down XDDDD
