Thank you, I have looked into this. Due to it saying national important intangible fol cultural property does that mean it is not extremely old? Roughly how old do you think this is? I am new to the japanese culture, i have been to japan but only at the airport to go to the philippines. But aye, thats more than most people haha
The Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival was designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property in 1979, so it's of course 30 years or so at most. It's most likely a souvenir of Fukuoka.
