I just discovered this j-rock called Deadman not long ago. And I really like them and I wants to know more about them, so I'm starting this thread.

The only thing I really know about this band is that they are disbanded (just my luck to discover a good band that has been in hiatus long before I find out about them).:(

I like Deadman a lot! They are a great band and it's so sad they disbanded. :(
I really don't know much about them i'm afraid... although if there are any songs you are missing... feel free to poke me ;-)

WAHHAAHHA you HAVE to check out "follow the night light" that was the first pv/song i heard of theirs.. and dude... i seriously became addicted... it's such a sexy song and mako is TOTALLY sexy =) he does look sorta interesting... i udnno... but i remember looking at him and going "hm... very... odd but i LOVE IT" hahaha

I love the "follow the night light" PV. It's so awesome! 👍 I love Mako's voice😍; it contrasts his look so very nicely.

Which brings me to a question. Is Mako still making music after the band disbanded?
 
sigh... not that i know of =(
but i think he should... he has such a wonderful voice!!1 it mustnt go to waste!
 
It's been a long time since post in the Deadman thread.
But recently, I can't stop listenin them! 👍
Especially the song Gin no Parasoru. 😍
Anyway, in search for lyrics and translations I've found a good Deadman site which has quite many translations! so i thought i'd share it here. :-)

"ex-deadman's vocalist 眞呼 (Mako), has announced the release of his own personal book called "buried alive by words". They are only selling it through deadman's official store, デビッド (Debiddo) via mail order and they've started taking reservations since April 1st. The release date, however, is not until May and the cost is set at 3300 yen.

The book is 60 full coloured pages and comes with never seen before photos, lyrics from deadman's song plus a CD that includes one unreleased song.Those who reserve a copy also will receive a three photo card set of Mako. Oh it gets better, everyone who applies will have their name entered in a raffle and 50 lucky people will receive a birthday card specially designed by Mako himself.

First, the title of the track that comes with the book is "buried with the light", and both the music and lyrics were written by Mako. Furthermore, for the song there are guest musicians — on guitar and bass Kozi (ex-MALICE MIZER) and on manipulator Kazutoshi Yokoyama."

i was just listening to dorisu kara no tegami, and i wanted to post something in deadman thread... but what i saw!!! this thread has died long ago!! :(:( anyway i'll try to bring this thread back to life!!... in the name of mako love!!😍:-)
 
well since they are disbanded, i doubt we can revive this thread :(
but mako is so cool. he reminds me of jack spooky... 😊

ehhhm....when i first listened, i have to admit i didnt like it, but after more listenings, i did!!👍... mako's voice sounded a bit different to me,... maybe he is discovering new sounds!!👍
i hope it just doesnt stay with just one song!!....such a voice mustnt go waste!!:(... i want new songs!!😎
it wouldnt be bad if he continue his collabs with kozi!!😊
 
i didnt like the beggining of the song for 1st time
and yeh, mako's voice is a bit different, i'd say :haihai: but i fell in love with the song 😊

Aw, not enough deadman love!

I just recently got into them, though I'd heard them before, and I can't stop listening to them! I already love a ton of their songs!!!

And yes, Mako reminds me of Jack too, a little bit.

I still need to listen to his solo song with Kozi. >>
 
Hehe, I've always known deadman as End Adam, I've read somewhere that End Adam is the real meaning of their name and the fact that Mako is a good friend with Marilyn Manson☝☝


but Manson take a little bit of Mako's style and make his own image. Anyhow, I prefer Mako 😊 his voice is much better. :-)

This is some information about Mako that i found! =) I love the song " Follow the night light" and "additional cause for sorrow"!! oh! and "Seija No Koushin" =D hope you like the info i found and i want his new book and song!! yay!
