I mean, it is long, and it uses a big sound; it seems like it is really straining against some invisible barrier that it hasn't quite broken through (because when you listen to it, it is after all only a rather long and reasonably ordinary rock song with good technique).
Kyahh ... maybe I'm just imagining things here. I'm going off on a total D-flight here! 😌 But ... does anyone else agree with me? :unsure:

I didn't notice your observation before...

I feel the same way about the song. I think that this song has a lot of strong elements, and it does feel kind of big, but not quite as big as it has the potential of sounding (lol, did that make any sense?)

I think they should've worked with the vocal melodies differently. The melodies he uses are almost too simple when paired with all of the music going on around his voice. I feel like you do, like there's some barrier that he's trying to cross ... but it's just not reached. I feel that way with both of the songs on the single. Something like that.

Not to say they aren't good, though. It's nice to hear some new D stuff, and I'm happy that they made it to number 1 (maybe Asagi can quit his part-time job now >.<)

Has anyone else heard Corvinus, Asagi's new solo single, yet?
I've listened to it and it's quite good. I'll have to listen to it more times to have a proper opinion on it, but it certainly isn't bad or anything. It sounds to me... typically like what I would have expected, which is kinda good (not too unlike D's music, which I like), but on the other hand it would be nice to hear something more... how shall I say?... experimental (I wondered why he had to work away from D to make that).

^^ I think the same thing Corvinus sounds alot like D music but it is still good of coarse!! yea when I read solo cd I thought it would sound a bit different than it did but oh well..did he use hired musicians for it??
Btw anyone gonna buy his Corvinus perfume??

edit: oh man... i just heard the album and the single... hahhaa wow... the album blew me away... asagi's solo work was erally nice too =D i lovei t, but i just had to listen to it a few times before i got use to it... and ya... it does sound a lot like D =P

Has anyone heard Tafel Anatomie yet? I've not listened to the whole album, I've only heard 5 songs off it, so I can't really judge yet... but... I have to say, that although those song I have heard so far are good, they are quite... similar to each other. ☝ I think D need to put a bit more variety into this album... :cry:
 
Hiiii. I'm a newbie to the forum and I'm a big fan of D. I have a few of their songs and I've been trying to download the Disograthy thingy, but the torrent is pretty much dead. I found some songs on SoulSeek, but they are constantly remotely qued and I really..really..wanna' listen to Tafel Anatomie! Can someone pleasepleaseplease upload it for me? Or perhaps point me in the direction of where I can download every song?
