I wonder if anyone could explain what the names like advisor and donator mean, when shown underneath the nickname? I know that they must be staff or something, but I was under the impression that it was just thomas and the other guy (miacomo? i can't remember) who ran the site?

admin is self explanatory
moderator is too
advisor = mod with knowledge in a particular forum e.g. j-music
donator = someone who donated money to the forum

donator means you've donated money to the site; it doesn't make them a part of the staff. Advisors are/are like moderators.
