Well, I would really, really hope that we could talk without the stinging. An olive branch has been extended, and so I'm quite willing to offer my services.
If I were seen as being trustworthy enough, I'd be willing to be the middle man on the music exchange. . .and the only cost would be that I'd get to hear the tunes before mailing them on. I have contacts with members of the forum beyond just the board, and I'll use that as a witness--if needed.
Then, let me say (although I don't listen to country music so much these days) I do understand both positions--the industry lists
S,Y,Z as country music, so it can be called country music while the purist or connoisseur may determine that
Y and
Z are not due to genre blending or whatever. In this case, to be fair, we should be willing to admit that both claims can be true. (but we could blame the industry too)
Anyway, I hope to follow with the talk about country music, but with a good ole-fashiond down home, country-side neighborly atmosphere. Thanks for listening.....
