Conjugating 行く

So i'm studying from guidetojapanese[dot]org
and he says that conjugating 行く is odd and different from other u-verbs.
itte is the correct past tense conjugation for it he says.
i just wanted to verify that it wasn't wrong or that i wasn't misunderstanding him

also what would the negative and past negative conjugations be?

its a great site and id recommend it to anyone learning japanese.

"itta" is the past tense (casual/dictionary) conjugation. "itte" is the ~te form. Here's a short list:

plain: iku, ikimasu
negative: ikanai, ikimasen
past tense: itta, ikimashita
negative past: ikanakatta, ikimasen deshita.
~te: itte
