Comic Market , happening in Tokyo big sight. And that's all I know !!! 😭

Anyone knows nothing about this event ?? I really wanna go !!!

What really confuses me is shouldn't we subscribe or send a fee or something ??? Or are the tickets (if any) bought on door ???

I don't know anything more than what is written on the website.

It seems there is no special registration or fee involved if you are just visiting. Application must be made months earlier if you are participating as vendor.

It says that if you want to see as many as possible, you must arrive early (that's 6:30 a.m.). Because of the huge number of people going, avoid riding the Yurikamome but take the bus or TWR (Rinkai Fukutoshi Line). Carry minimal baggage. Photography is restricted to certain areas, and your camera will be inspected. Make sure to go to the bathroom before you jump into the crowd (don't expect to be able to afterwards). You need to register and pay 600 yen if you are coming for cosplay. Make sure you purchase your return ticket or prepaid Passnet Card before arrival. The ticket vending machines will be impossible to use.

These are the tips it gives, in addition to the "regular" rules on not carrying weapons, inciting riots, etc. :LOL:

I will stick to your advices. Do you think I will have to pay the difference fee for my ticket before my arrival too ?? I wonder if that coul be done from my station here ???
 
Oh yes, you are not allowed to arrive before 6:00 a.m. Probably the organizers had problems before with people camping out at the venue.

The most convenient thing is to buy the prepaid Passnet card (which can be used for all railway and subway lines except JR, which requires Suica prepaid card) either at your railway station (if you live close to a private railway line or subway) or at the station of arrival. Otherwise, you must buy your return ticket at the station you plan to use to return home. 😌

I will arrive early anyway , and then hang around the place. It's not everyday that you get to go to the comiket !! (infact it is 2 days :eek: ..)

I read manga Comic Party once. I wonder if that manga was inspired by Comiket. Anyone knows? :-)

Nah.... still working on the 29th & 30th.... :(
Everything I wrote was on the website... I've only seen Comiket on TV, in a report of a Marvel Comics man coming from the US to the event to recruit young, talented artists.
