Thinking about it it was probably a COVID-19+GAIJIN=FEAR² case too.

Anyway when it is in America and against asians they call it xenophobia.

I don't think it's fear for foreigners like that, I think it's fear in general to all whom are not wearing masks or those whom are coughing or look sick.

Standing in the train there was an old man standing, he had a small cough but this younger woman whom was sitting down really looked at him as if he was the virus himself... Basic manners such as do you want to sit down comes after the fear of Corona even someone might not even have it.

To start saying COVID-19+GAIJIN=FEAR² goes a bit too far but guess that's the way YOU are thinking.
