Okay, so I wanted to know if anybody has anything to say about gaining Japanese citizenship. I know some basic things, like how I will have to renounce my other citizenship. Can you explain in detail some things such as how long it takes, what my chances at acceptance are, what helps the process, etc...? Thanks in advance!

First things first: Are you even eligible for some sort of visa to come live here? You would need to be living here for several years before you can even think of citizenship.

Why Japan? Have you even visited the country before?

You can file for citizenship after being here 5 years.
Your "chances"? How can we evaluate that without knowing anything about you? Give us some info.
