Yi yi: A One and a Two (2000)
(i found this slow, but gave a good feel for
living in Tapei)

(sort of confusing plot, sad ending,
nice part showing the main character
as a little girl, always giving her
parents problems)
Springtime in a SmallTown
(i found this beautifully filmed,
but a bit slow)
The River (He liu, 1997)
(I don't know, it is interesting)
Flowers of Shanghai
(you see chinese as they dressed years ago,
the hair-styles, the clothes, the culture,
but it was all indoors, and just one man
jealous)
Shanghai Triad
(many liked this, i think i need
to see this again)
