I know it's off topic, but some says Japan was first asian country to accept German Nazi as their ally, but Chinese KMT was the first asian country to accept Nazis.

Here are some images of KMT china and Nazi Germany connections.

Chinese nazi supporter

Chinese soldiers trained by Nazi army officer

Chinese KMT partys' meeting with Nazi supreme council/Reichstag members

For a bonus here are some Japanese nazi wannabes

So much for a bunch of pro skinheads/neo-nazi supporters, wannabes. They don't realize that they are also the victims of the skinheads in countries of Europe.

Whoa! So weird. Looking at those Chinese officers in Nazi-like uniforms. ☝

This is quite fascinating. I wonder what made the Chinese KMT accept the Nazis as allies. I would guess that the Nazis were so afraid of the Communists that they were willing to ally with anyone against any leftist political movements. I doubt that the Germanics would have considered the Mongoloid Chinese as racial equals in their supposed ideal world.

You see, Nazi Germans needed ally like main land china, for it's purpose for their resources. Germans hated the communists and since chinese KMT was not communists, Nazi party were willing to make KMT party as their ally. It has nothing to do with Nazi Germans accepting chinese as their own Aryan race or anything.

Just curious, what does your nick mean? From your profile I'm guessing you're a Korean. Are you a Korean from Russia or a Korean with communist affiliations?

I personally think its a tale to believe germans accepted 'arians' only. Even in outstanding 'racial' forces like waffen SS was it not uncommon to have e.i. central asian forces (muslim). And please just consider the strong relationships between Germany and Italy or Spain during WWII where spanish and italian could not fit into the 'arian' ideology. I think those people were pragmatic enough to accept everybody who just was anti-communist... anti-american... anti-british and so on.

True. I remember reading a biography of Hitler where he wrote that after all the enemies of the Third Reich were defeated or subjugated he would turn on the Japanese (he even called them yellow-skinned slit-eyed people). If you look at the top members of the Nazi Party (Himler, Goebbels, etc.) you will see that they look nothing like the ideal Nordic Aryan type (e.g., blonde hair, blue eyes, tall build) revered by the Nazis. Italian, Spanish, Bulgarian, and Japanese people would definitely be excluded as part of their racial project. In fact, Hitler and the Nazis were trying so hard during the early years of the war to lure Britain on their side as "racial allies" (remember Hess' ill-fated trip to Scotland?). Also, the Nazis allowed conquered Germanic countries (e.g., Netherlands, Norway, Denmark) to let their citizens be part of the SS.

However, there is one thing I agree with the Nazis--the evil of communism. Any socio-political theory that states that the general populace should lose their freedom, liberty, and right to a fulfilling life so that squeegie kids can get a full meal every day is evil. There are much more better ways to be humanitarian without resorting to this kind of method.

Speaking of the ideal aryans, Hitler wasn't even an ideal aryan! He had black hair and dark eyes. I have no idea what the hell he was thinking.

These soldiers are not Chinese. They are Turkmen. There are also more photos of Turkmenistan volunteers here http://www.geocities.com/alvinlee_81/WarPics6.html

This is Wang Jingwei, the KMT traitor who collaborated with the Japs. The Nazis pictured are not the supreme council or Reichstag members. They are German diplomats in Nanjing, 1941.

sick sick photo's i never knew this, and i thought i was a puding historian.Thx for posting

Although I am a Chinese, I don't know what a Turkmeni is. Are they Turks raised in China?

I know who Wang Jing Wei was though. His picture was on each history textbook in Hong Kong, but some of my classmates thought Wang Jing Wei, No.1 traitor of China and the public enemy of Chinese people, was good-looking. I think he looked like a womanizer.

I've seen Turkmen and they certainly are not Turkmen (Turkmen look more Mongolian). They look more like mainland Chinese (not southern Cantonese Chinese, whose physical appearance is somewhat different from their more northern counterparts). Besides, the KMT was composed mainly of ethnic Chinese.

Xinjiang is also called East Turkmenistan, hence there are Turkmens in China.

Germany had quite close military relations to China up to 1938. Many Chinese soldiers were trained by German officers.

For Chinese volunteers in the German army: there probably were some, but not too many.
BTW, Chiang Kai-Sheks son (Chiang Wei-Kuo?) is said to have served in the German military, but that was probably before WWII.

Turkmens are a diverse lot. You'll find some who look very caucasoid & others who look like ethnic Han. I think for the most part they are a mixture of the caucasoid & mongoloid race.

East Turkistan or Chinese Turkistan, and they are Uighurs, not Turkmen. Uighur looks like Turkmens, Uzeks, and other central asians, but not Chinese at all.

Turkmens are the major inhabitants of modern turkmenistan and turkey.
many c.asiatic former soviet soldiers served as german soldiers after they 'd been captured as well as all other nations.
well german army used many foreigners/aliens as officers...

Ooops! You are of course right, it's East Turkestan. Maybe I got confused by the many names this place has:
Eastern Turkistan (Turkestan), Uyghuristan, Uyghuria, Chinese Turkistan, Xinjiang, Sinkiang, Uyghur Autonomous Region.
Or maybe it was just my bad memory. :auch:

Even if you don't go as far as some who count eg. Uyghurs & Kazakhs as Turkmen, you will find Turkmens in China.

For what Uyghurs look like: they are a diverse lot, just like Turkmens. Some of them definitely look like ethnic Han. Mind you, this part of the world has seen ethnic/racial blending for centuries.

It's quite true. They use German-made helm and weapons

BUT the TRUTH is quite the opposite. KMT uses germans to help the Chinese defending the Nation from the Japanese invasion.

The KMT of the republic of china has better relationships with the Weimar Republic of Germany since 1927 after they break up with the Soviet Union. (the Soviet support the Chinese communist party to overthrow the nationalists' government).
The main goal of KMT was to build an army strong enough to defend the nation from foreign invaders (like Japs in the late 30s.), and in 1927, German, after WWI, only allowed to have 100,000 men in the army. That means most military officers (including high-rank generals) need to retire in their middle ages. So, there are available officers from the possible best army in the world, and a need to defend own nation.. everything just goes as expected.
After the Nazis gain power after 1933, they saw KMT in china as a possible ally against the Soviet Union, so the military cooperation continues.

After all, there's no clear date and locations in these pics. There are always traitors during the war. Nothing can be concluded from these.

they're not the only nazi collaberators

Before WW2, there were various US industrialists, politicians, & celebrities
who admired Hitler and fascism. Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh
might be the most well known. Joe Kennedy, the father of US politicians,
was a sympathizer, and Prescott Bush, W's G-Daddy & Bush Sr's father,
had business deals with the nazi regime and was charged under
the "Trading With The Enemy Act" for "Running Nazi front groups in the United States."

Then there is something called.
"Operation Paper Clip"

Professor Noam Chomsky, in a published interview
titled "Secrets, Lies and Democracy," says the following
in a chapter titled:
"How the Nazis won the war."

Barsamian: You've said that if a real post-World War II history were ever written, this would be the first chapter.

Chomsky: It would be a part of the first chapter. Recruiting Nazi war criminals and saving them is bad enough, but imitating their activities is worse. So the first chapter would primarily describe the US -- and some British -- operations throughout the world that aimed to destroy the anti-fascist resistance and restore the traditional, essentially fascist, order to power. (I've also discussed this in an earlier book in this series, What Uncle Sam Really Wants.)

In Korea (where we ran the operation alone), restoring the traditional order meant killing about 100,000 people just in the late 1940s, before the Korean War began. It meant destroying the peasant and worker base of the anti-Nazi resistance and restoring Nazi collaborators to power in Greece.
