Aomori sentence "tremendously cruel," says Alvarado

The Chilean wife of Yuji Chida, sentenced to a 14-year prison term Thursday by a local court for embezzling 1.46 billion yen from a public housing corporation in Aomori Prefecture, said the sentence is "tremendously cruel," a Chilean newspaper reported Friday.

Las Ultimas Noticias quoted Anita Alvarado as saying, "He is not an assassin. The Japanese have committed a barbaric act," adding she considers the sentence by the Aomori District Court to be wildly "exaggerated."

Anita wanted nothing to do with her husband earlier in the media, and now says his sentencing is too cruel? Sounds like a biploar attitude....but it is typical of media hogs...

anything to get in the news.....

once the media turns its attention away, I wonder what she'll do next? Perhaps a reality show as guest star of the Anna Nicol show?
