Chiba to Togane - Whats the commute like?

I'm heading over to Japan in late august and will be going to school in Togane. I was thinking of living in Chiba since I figured there would be a lot more things to do than Togane, but i'm not sure of the commute. How easy/expensive is it to get from Chiba to Togane? I would be making this trip probably 4 or 5 days a week
