If you are in Kyoto, the best thing is to go and ask if you can hook up your laptop there, and prices etc...You must remember, it is not *cheap* compared to other countries. Or, you can try and call them for prices etc...

There are many many many more internet cafes in Kyoto...I remember the *cheapest* were those were you can order coffee or snack and food and enjoy free access.....I just can't remember what is called..
