Caught on Video...Modern Kamikaze

An accident that happened right in front of me this morning in Tokyo. The video is from the recorder in my truck.



Notice that the JGSDF vehicle hit the downed scooter at least twice, and kept right on going on his merry way.

The audio, in case anyone is wondering, is from an old radio program from late 1942. I was listening to it at the time. The "How do you do?" seems perfectly timed. The voices are The Mad Russian, Eddie Cantor, and Ida Lupino.

No, it isn't. I wish my company had bought something better than this junk. This is the first time I've actually seen video from them. My iPhone 4S did better.

I've temporarily taken the video down at least until the police get through doing their thing. I had a call from them this morning asking me to describe again what happened and for me to send them the video. Apparently they spent part of yesterday tracking down the specific SDF vehicle involved, examining it, and interviewing the driver/passenger(s).
